Intro to Political Science

Good morning everyone. We have a smaller class, which does have its perks or downs, depending of course on your perspective.

I’d like to begin by getting to know the class. If you could tell me why you picked this class. “Because I had to” is not an acceptable answer. We all have choices, whether it is clear or if it is not.

I’d also like to know what you hope to learn here.

Am I the only one here?

Um. I guess I took this class because I want to know how societies and governments are organized? And because I'm interested in freedom of the press and civil rights and, um, stuff.

Yeah.

Lily Evans, here. I signed up for this course so that I might better understand the "local" government of the area from which I hail. I read newspaper articles and shake my head in disbelief at the goings-on, but maybe I'm just missing something - I'd like to keep an open mind and learn as much as I can.

Seemed like it might be useful later on in my career path, ma'am.

I'm a bit fuzzy on how the political system actually works, so I suppose I'm looking for a better understanding.

*is so late to enroll it's not funny*

As part of the Bene Gesserit, politics is always a good thing to be able to handle. Plus the mental manuvering is often amusing.
