Rory makes a very brief stop by her room to pick up something she figured would be neccessary.

She walks to the cafeteria, and starts setting up Professor Jerusalem's equipment. When it's all set up, she turns on the megaphone she had once taken from Paris, and says through it, "Hey, people - real, non-zombie food. We have real, non-zombie-fied food over here. And it's free. Screw the fundraiser, people need help. So come and have something to eat. We can make you anything."

[ooc: Yearbook people who're helping - I'll be in and out all day. Basically, if someone orders something, you can respond and say you made it, whatever. I'm going to have Rory sort of there in the background, but quietly overseeing things for most of the day. Oh, and hope the fact that we're giving food away didn't startle anyone. :) Oh! And play with the megaphone!]

Rory presses buttons on the machine, and hands Rose's food to her.

Her stomach rumbles, and she realizes she hasn't eaten today. She presses some buttons on the machine, and begins to eat the chocolate pie and coffee that emerge.

"Did you sleep okay?" she asks Rose around a mouthful of pie. "When I left last night, you guys all looked pretty comfy, but I didn't see if you managed to get a spot on one of the two beds or not."

Rose takes a sip of hot cocoa. "I slept on the floor. Got about two hours. Considering there are sodding zombies about, I'd say I was lucky to sleep at all.'

She glances at Rory. "How about you?"

Rory blushes slightly. "I, uh, found a bed, got a few hours, and came here. And yeah, considering how bad last night was, I'm surprised I got to sleep at all."

Rose nods. "I've dealt with zombies before, but nothing like this. I sometimes wonder about this school."

"Yeah. I've never dealt with anything like this, but somehow, I'm really not surprised there are zombies."

"Don't forget gremlins and tentacle monsters," Rose said with a laugh.

"Exactly," Rory says, grinning. "Things like this never happened back at home. If I were to write to someone from my hometown about what's been going on, they would be pretty convinced I'm not at some boarding school, but an asylum."

Rose laughs. "Good thing my mum already knows my travels with the Doctor. Otherwise, she surely would have me committed."

"Yeah - my mom witnessed the zombie-fun firsthand, so I'm set. My grandparents though...they never get to hear about this."

Rose grinned. "That's Fandom High for you."
