Kappa Kappa Gremlin Meeting [6PM FHT]

"Okay, so things around here fratwise have been fairly quiet of late," Seely said. "But we are the manly men of Kappa Kappa Gremlin, and I'm sure that in time all shall know how truly awesome we are."

"Until then, there's pizza."

"I was thinking filling a room with them," Peter said. "But yours works too."

"Mine's also more likely to get our asses kicked ... though, there are the wet t-shirts to be considered," Neil pointed out thoughtfully.

"Sounds like we'd need some sort of cover," Peter said. He grinned. "Or somebody invisible I can stand next to."

Neil blinked.

"Is there anyone in the school with that particular ability?"

Because honestly, at that point the possibilities become endless.

"Teddy can camoflague himself but I don't know if that's the same thing," Peter said.

"Wyatt and I can orb," Chris offered, not adding the 'usually'. "We could be part of the escape party."

Peter looked at him with interest. "What's orbing?"

"Teleporting, basically," Chris explained.

"Can I try it sometime?" Peter asked.

"Uh... sure," Chris said. "I guess. I don't have total control over it yet, but grab on to me and I can try."

"Wait - you don't have control yet?" Peter asked. "Doesn't that mean I could be leaving an arm behind?"

"Oh, no, not like that," Chris assured him. "I can't just do it whenever I want yet. So far it's worked the best when I'm startled."

"Huh," Peter said, thoughtfully. He looked around the room casually, then jerked back in Chris's direction. "Boo!"

And there goes Chris.

He orbed out and orbed back in on the other side of Peter. "Dude, what the hell?"

"Sorry," Peter said. "Thought it would help. It looked cool."

"It is really cool," Chris said. "And I'm working on being able to do it without being scared."

"Would it be possible for me to try it sometime?" Peter asked. "I mean, try to do it?"

"Yeah, I guess," Chris said. "You'd have to be touching me though."

"Not necessarily," Peter said. "I've been able to do it just by being near people."

Chris stared at him blankly. "Huh?"

Peter finally realized they were talking at cross-purposes. "I copy other people's powers when I'm near them."

"Oh, dude, that's pretty cool," Chris said. "Yeah, sure, you can try orbing sometime then. I also have telekinesis."

"Really? That'd be great," Peter said. "I'm really trying to hone my skills, you know?"

Chris nodded. "I completely understand. We should find somewhere to practice together sometime. My brother and I have the same powers. And his roommate, Tannim, has powers, too."

"Absolutely," Peter said. "Consider it a date."
