*More hesitantly than when she took off her shirt, she slips off her shoes and takes her pants off, Vala's blood dried all over the thighs. She takes the soap and begins to wash her legs gently...small round bruises are all over her below her waist*

No harm, Beka. I just, well, I don't know that he'd be entirely confortable having the students know the details of our love life...since it's kind of written all over me. Know what I mean?

We have lives outside of school, you know.

I understand, really. You have to pardon me. We don't have "schools" where I'm from. And an adult is just someone who can carry a weapon, fly a ship, take care of herself.

I've been an adult since I was twelve. And there are times when I really wish I'd grown up in your world. I'd probably be a lot less frelled up.

In the absence of a response, Beka quickly unbraids her hair and sticks her head as far under the faucet as she can. Of course, since she's more or less naked, this is not a good idea. She straightens, grabs her pants and scrubs the worst of the dried blood of them with a washcloth.

Shrugging leather pants onto damp skin is a bit of a struggle, and she smacks her hip on the sink before she's through.

Well, that'll leave a mark.

No time, if she wants her hair clean. Once more under the faucet, she wets her hair and starts scrubbing.
