Late Friday night
CJ carefully untangles herself from the sleeping Doctor and gets up. She couldn't sleep if she tried, and she has, so she walks out of the stacks to see what she can do in the library now that the zombie battle is over. She needs to do something that will help her get a grip.

Jack is sill holding his P90 rather comfortably despite the size, this is what he knows. Priority right now is to keep everyone else safe. As he looks around he notices the most everyone is asleep, except for a person here and their.
Jack spots his Speech teacher leaning against one of the bookshelves and goes over to her.
"First time in a fire-fight?"

Um, I guess so Jack. I've been shot at before, threatened, and stalked...but never been in a fire-fight. No.
*Shell shock would be an excellent description of her demeanor*

"Battle's tend to get kinda run-of-the-mill after a while, the first ones though... I remember mine. Cambodia, bloddy as hell. Scary too. Much worse then this."

Oh, Jack...what is it about you guys named Jack? *Looks over to where Jack and Vala are sleeping* Charming smart-asses, both of you.
Thanks.
*She reaches out and touches him on the arm*

Yeah well, you know. Soft spot and all that."
Jack smiles at his teacher.
"So. Have fun?"

*Looks around at the sleeping students, Beka and Callisto*
Well, no. But this is kind of nice.
no subject
Yeah, it sure could be a lot worse that's for sure."

Jack looks better than he did before. Less shaky. More in command. She likes that. And wishes there was somwhere she could wash up.

"Thanks for earlier, sometimes a little bit of normal helps the shakes."

I could learn to like you a lot.no subject

"I'm glad I could be normal for you."
no subject
...
I'm glad too." Jack gives her a small smile.
