"That is good to hear, Henry. I'm glad for you. It is never fun not feeling good." She smiled warmly. "I am doing very well thank you." Just daydreaming about someone, or two, and scribbling them down in my journal. Okay, maybe just really one...

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)
"That's good to hear." He smiled. "Has the coward who stuck you with a fish gotten his comeuppance yet?"

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
She chuckled, "No, and I imagine he won't either. He's long gone, along with all the water we had. I should have liked to teach him a lesson though."

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
"I'd imagine so," Henry replied. "It would seem that he recieved no small measure of luck. So narrowly avoiding a woman's wrath."

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 05:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Annette grinned wide, "Exactly. Luck was certainly on his side, for had I been able to deal with him as an equal adversary, I am sure I would be the victor!" She said proudly.

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 05:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"The fish would have proved to be a very feeble weapon, indeed." He took a sip of his drink. "Unless it was a swordfish. Then you might've had some increased difficulty."

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 06:41 pm (UTC)(link)
"Let's not talk about fish anymore. I swear I thought I would never get that smell out of my room. Ew."

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Henry quieted down. "My apologies."

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 07:05 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. She didn't mean to make him be quiet. "How is school going for you today, Henry? Have any classes?" She asked brightly.

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
"Yes," Henry answered, "Twenty-first century Popular Culture." That made him think. He did have another class on Tuesdays; Edward's Superheroing class. What was he going to do with it? Continue to go dressed as Edward?

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 07:44 pm (UTC)(link)
"That sounds interesting, Henry. Do you like it?" She asked, curious.

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 07:51 pm (UTC)(link)
"It depends on the topic. I do enjoy seeing how the scientific advances have shaped this culture. The creation of television was certainly an excellent move-" Henry still was fascinated by it- "but I'm not very fond of modern music. It's far too discordant. Sadly, we spend quite a lot of time discussing modern music. For the most part, though, it is a fine class."

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 07:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Annette leaned her chin upon her palm, her elbow to the edge of the table as she listened intently. He was entertaining to watch; the expressions on his face as he spoke about what fascinated him. He seemed an almost easy person to read. She liked him very much.

"Music is a big part of our culture today, is why most likely. Who is your professor?"

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-13 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
"Miss Tyler," Henry responded. "She's rather knowledgeable about other cultures, as well as my own, so she can teach at my level. It's something of a relief."
He smiled back at Annette. It was good to talk to someone with a comfortable temperament. "And you? What classes do you have today?"

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
"Ah, yes, Rose! I knew that, I just momentarily forgot. I really like her." She replied amicably. "I had Home Ec this morning, and that was it for me today. We had to learn to wash clothes."

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
Henry looked a little surprised. "I'd never thought about that." He gave her a quizzical look. "How do you wash clothing?"

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
"I never knew until today and actually I don't think I really got the hang of it. I've never had to wash clothes before."

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
"Nor have I." Henry had been sending everything to the dry cleaners. It was doubtful that he'd be able to wash his clothes in a laundry machine (Victorian cloth just wasn't made for that), but Henry didn't know that.
"Perhaps I should try it, sometime..."

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
"From my experience today? It wasn't fun at all. I'll just keep sending my clothes to the cleaners." She smiled and nodded and pushed her still full tray away from her.

"So, have you thought about going out sometime? You know, for coffee or something?"

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
Henry totally connected on the fly. Gotta love slow play. nodded. "That would be nice. I haven't seen too much of the town, yet. Where is a nice place?"

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Henry was just totally cool to Annette. Charming and sweet. "We can go to The Perk one morning for breakfast if you like. It's nice. And I've had Chinese once before at a Chinese restaurant. Whatever sounds nice to you, Henry is good for me."

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:20 am (UTC)(link)
"Chinese food?" Anything from the orient was very mysterious and vogue back in Henry's hometime. "There's a restaurant that specializes in Chinese food?"

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
She nodded, "Yes, there is. We could also go to Caritas and listen to the zombie band play. They're really great."

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
Henry was about to say something, when he looked surprised. "Oh, did you say something about breakfast at..." he thought for a second, "...The Perk?" He hoped he'd gotten that name right, but he was pretty sure it wasn't. That was an odd name.

[ooc: Okay, now I'm getting confused along with Henry. How should we connect the Hallway thread and this one? I'm scared that if we don't find continuity, we'll rip open a hole in the fabric of space time! XD ]

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:32 am (UTC)(link)
(ooc: *giggles* I was doing the same thing. Talking about too many places I got myself all messed up! We'll do the Perk!)

She nodded, "Yes, The Perk. It will be nice, you'll see. And all those other places I talked about? We can get to those later at some time or another. How does that sound?"

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:35 am (UTC)(link)
[ooc: Whoo! Paradox averted. ^_^]

"Excellent." He nodded back. "What would be a good time for you?"

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Annette thought for a moment..."How does Thursday morning sound?"

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
"I have a class at ten o'clock." Henry frowned. "Perhaps we could meet for brunch?"

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:53 am (UTC)(link)
"Brunch would be just fine." She replied easily.

[identity profile] henryoredward.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
"Excellent!" He looked pleased. "Should I stop by your room around eleven, then?"

[identity profile] misshargrove.livejournal.com 2007-03-14 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
"Eleven o'clock on Thursday. I'll be ready." She said pleasantly.
