As was becoming usual, when the students entered the Danger Shop, they found John leaning against the Impala. This time it was parked on the side of a road just outside some woods.

"Welcome to Anderson Woods," he greeted them. "In the past few months there had been a number of deaths due to animal attacks. The latest victim is a teenage girl named Scarlet Rider. She was attacked last night while visiting her grandmother. Her grandmother is also missing and is being considered another victim. A hunter -- of the regular kind --" John grinned, "happened along in time to save Scarlet. He confirmed that it was a wolf that's the attacker. The girl's story is being dismissed as the result of shock and loss of blood. She's stated that the wolf was in her grandmother's cottage and spoke to her before attacking. Crazy, right?" he asked with another grin.

"Your assignment is to track down whatever is attacking people and stop them. As well as preventing any new... attackers. Remember, sometimes these things can be passed on. I suggest you might want to deal with the latter part first. You'll have plenty of light to hunt the forest after dark." John grinned again, this time wolfishly. "It's a full moon tonight.

"As always if you have any questions, ask them."

Setsuna was still deciding if she wanted to work alone or branch out and try working with someone new for a change. She noticed Dick looking around a bit and, by way of greeting, asked, "Are you good with guns?"

Dick seemed to be fighting a battle inside his head for the correct answer to that question. "Uh, I can shoot them and have a good chance of hitting a target, if that's what you mean."

Setsuna considered this answer carefully. "Hm. A 'good chance of hitting' is still probably better than my chances. We're clearly dealing with a werewolf here, which requires silver bullets, but I'm not very good with a gun, so I want to partner up with someone who is." She inspected Dick carefully again. "If anything, I could still easily dehabilitate the creature with my sword, and have you lay the final blow..."

"You can use a sword? Awesome!" said Dick. "Sounds like a plan."

Setsuna blinked at Dick like the whole concept of not being able to use a sword was just preposterous. Then she gave a firm not. "Right. Let's suit up, then."

She went to the trunk and grabbed a nodachi (gotta love the Danger Shop) and, despite what she'd said earlier about not being much of a shot, still found herself a decent sized gun and loaded it quickly with silver bullets.

Dick pulled out a gun and loaded it with silver bullets. He also rummaged through the trunk until he found a good sized knife. Just in case he lost the gun at any point.

"Should we check up on victim and see if she give us any tips?"
