Once the class has settled in, Captain Liberty gives them all a smile and says, "Welcome back. Hope you all had a good break, because it's over now and you're not getting it back. Haha. Lucky for you guys we have a pretty easy class today." Though it's said in a way that might make the students question that statement.

"I've said before that a good portion of superheroing is trying to come off in a good light. You might think you're just doing your job, or doing the right thing, but there's more to it than that," she continues. "The things you do can be really public, and will attract attention. Reporters will write about your actions, kids might want to dress up as you for Halloween, and let's not even think of people trying to spin things weird during an election year." Pausing, remembering her background, she says, "Pretend I didn't say that. The fact of the matter is, a lot of people don't want to be saved by someone they think is a jerk.

"Now, for today's class, we're going to have you be interviewed by a real reporter. Your job is to put your best foot forward. It's just that easy," Captain Liberty smiles. "Now, I'd like you all to welcome someone a few of you might know, Rita Skeeter."

Once class is getting up to leave, Captain Liberty calls, and for homework, I just want you all to give me a paragraph or two on how your interview went, and how you'd handle it next time. Bye."

"No, the last bit."

"Oh! My power thing," Jamie said hitting his hand on the desk a few times and creating some duplicates. "Comes in handy when I need to clean my room."

Rita stared. "How did you do that?"

"Well the current theory is that I can utilize the kinetic energy released upon any impact as a catalyst agent to initiate a complete and total replication of my body‘s cells, splitting off exact duplicates of myself with whom I share an empathic link. The duplicates can then operate independently and then be absorbed back into myself later retaining any memories or skills they may have picked up on the way," Jamie expounded as he re-absorbed the duplicates.

"Or you're an illusionist," she replied.

"Nope. They're all me. Kind of," Jamie replied. "You don't believe me?"

"I've never seen such a thing," Rita replied.

"You must be from one of the boring worlds," Jamie said. "You know. Where nothing interesting happens."

"I'm a witch," she replied, narrowing her eyes. "I'm from the wizarding London."

"You wouldn't happen to know someone by the name of Wanda Maximoff, do you?" Jamie said with a dark look.

"...no," Rita said, looking intrigued.

Jamie gave her a suspicious look. "Then again can I really trust a witch? You could be protecting your own kind."

Rita shrugged. "I haven't the faintest idea who that is, and I'm not really here to gain your trust. Just your words."

"Fine then. You're the reporter. Ask away."

The quill had already begun to flick across the parchment.

"Why are you in this class?"

"To be a hero of course. Without having to wear any spandex outfits if possible."

"I think that's a wish we all share."
