That done, let's get to business. I think you all really liked the sex lesson. I don't blame you! But now we must move on, sadly, to bigger and not-so-better things. Like, language. This includes both vocal and body language. This ties in with my linguistics course, but how does language and culture mesh? For this, we're going to listen to different languages and compare them with the cultures that they're from.

Homework: Do your reading and hand in the questions at the end of the chapter (Chapter 3). (OOC: Obviously you just need to write *hands in homework* for this one, since I ain't givin' you no questions :P)

So, guess what we're doing today? Nope, no grave goods! We're looking at some pyramids and the chambers inside him. ~~Isn't this just fun?~~

Homework: Design your own pyramid, complete with different chambers ~~of funness~~. Nothing too complex, just a few rooms.

*freaks quietly, snatches up the paper and crunches it up and dumps it inside the desk*

*blinks and stares at doctor Jackson for a moment, then slowly opens the desk again to see if he was dreaming it*

*Daniel looks up from the computer, as he was about to change slides* Is there a problem, Cameron?

No, sir. Just dropped my pen. *closes the desk again and wonders if he's going crazy*

*the doodles move as soon as they notice him, scurrying to hide under the notes*

*a few of the less fortunate doodles, caught in some of the worse creases of the paper, lay still and broken looking*

*quickly gets the paper back out of the desk when Daniel isn't looking anymore and smoothes it back down*

*frowns and looks around him, wondering if anyone else saw something weird happen*

*the doodles collect their dead and pile them over the margin*

*then they collect some of the 'e's from his notes, and leave them in a pile in front of him before running off and hiding again. It would be slightly reminiscent of a sacrifice, if they were leaving him virgins instead of the most redundant bit of 'Archeology'*

*mutters to self* I am not insane. *wonders why the e's on his page has moved then*

*feels slightly guilty over the dead doodles in the margin*

*picks up his pen and draws another doodle as peace offering*

*the doodles watch him from behind a list of the characteristics of pyramids*

*they approach the new doodle nervously*

*decides he's definitely crazy for wanting to be friends with moving doodles*

*one of the doodles has found an 'h' lying around and is poking at another one. It's starting to get out of hand*

*the new doodle seems to be making friends, however*

*is glad to see the new doodle is having fun*

*snotices the violence and threatens the aggressive doodle with his eraser*

*the other doodles notice your wrath, and quickly gather periods to throw at the offending doodle*

*they solemnly put it over the margins, after*

*In unrelated news, Delirium has finally stopped bouncing around, but she's still talking very loudly about things that come in boxes, like jellybeans and jellyfish*

*will have to talk to his doodles about the death penalty*

*looks over his shoulder at who is talking so loudly and glares as they should be paying attention ~~even if he is far too distrated by moving doodles and such~~*

*wonders if Cameron is all right, as he's looking rather green*

*doesn't think that MOVING doodles is considered alright*

*wishes they'd stop killing each other, though*

*peers over Cam's shoulder to see what he's staring at*

*blinks*

*nods in agreement* Yeah. *stares at paper*

*stares with him*

*grins* If they start trying to kill you, I've got your back.

*snorts* I already put my foot down, they're scared of me. *relieved he's not going crazy*

*nods* Good, good. *stares more* What the frell are they doing?

*shrugs* I dunno... dancing?

*feels staticky like something bad is going to happen, more than she usually does, not in a magic kind of way but in a Beka Valentine trouble is brewing kind of way* I don't either.

Listen... Cam... this might be out of line and you can tell me if it is. But, one friend to another, be careful tonight. Between the doodles and the weird way some of our weirder students have been acting... *shrugs*

Just be careful. ~~And take care of Vala.~~

*frowns* Why? What's going on?

*shakes her head* No, it's not like that. I don't know anything. I just feel weird. A little edgy, staticky. Like I used to do before the Nietzscheans swooped in out of nowhere or the Magog showed up.

Oh. *frowns and looks worried* They wouldn't come here, right?
