Marie had ordered a wide variety of pizza and was sitting on one of the bar stools in the music room while she waited for everyone to file in.
"Hey, everyone," she greeted with a grin. "First, I want to thank Summer for stepping up and running the meeting last week while I was unexpectedly out of town. She filled me in on everything you guys talked about and I've asked her to be my co-organizer."
She jumped down from the stool and flipped over the white board in the front of the room.
Keep the park clean.
Knit for charity.
Food Drive.
Improve nature trails in the preserve.
"These are the ideas you guys came up with for service projects last week. Let's talk about them and try to pick one today that we'd like to focus on. But I want us to have fun, too. So let's talk about some social activities as well."
