Driver's Education - 3rd Period - 2/20
When the students entered the classroom today, they would not find Deadpool being his usual manic self. He was hunched over his desk, looking very annoyed with the world in general. He was, dare it be said, brooding.
(I am not!)
And arguing with the narration.
(Well it's stupid. I'm not brooding. This is just a funk that'll go away after I get more coffee.)
On the desk in front of him were 5 empty cups from The Perk.
(Shut up and let me teach. ...razzum frazzum kill you someday...)
"Today we're talking about driving on the highway, where every idiot with barely two braincells to rub together in existence feels the need to drive directly in front of you. Learn to live with the road rage because that lecture won't come until later," He told the class. "Now I know some of you are from the past where there aren't any highways, or the future which I can't vouch for the state of the road systems, or even from places where cars are strange and frightening creatures that go vroom! But I'm sure this will help you when you need to drive on a highway someday. It'll be one of those things where when it finally is useful, you'll think fondly back on this moment and then scream in frustrations and rage because you can't remember beyond this introduction due to your small attention span and need for sleep."
He gave them a sympathetic look.
"Sorry. Sucks to be you."
He pushed two handouts toward the edge of his desk for the students to pick up.
"But hey! Pieces of paper in case you want to remember and, you know, not die horribly. Enjoy. Don't burn down the classroom."
And with that he went back to brooding.
(Oh for frak's sake! I am not brooding!)
