"Buenos Dias class. Today we're going to continue on our guitar manufacture. We've talked about the structure of the guitar, now we're going to talk about materials. Guitars have been made out of wood for years beyond count, although with electric guitars, there has been something of a migration towards plastic.

"However, we do not have the equipment, nor do I have the time to show you how to make an electric guitar. So we will instead focus on the wooden acoustic. Now, I've gone and obtained you some Koa wood for your guitars. Don't ask me how.

"This is considered among the best kinds of wood for guitar making, due to various accoustical properties. This stuff is quite rare, so we'll be saving it until the end. Next class, we'll begin working in the Danger Shop with fake wood for practice. For now, though, I've provided you with several guitar plans as well as drafting paper of your own. Go on and select both the physical shape of your guitar, as well as what you will put on it to make it unique. What about this guitar will make it yours?"

She totally wasn't considering what might happen if she fell asleep while using a belt-sander. . . .

Nadia's guitar? Was totally going to be blue.

Chad was looking thoughtfully at the drafting paper, so far empty, thinking about his guitar. He probably wouldn't be able to make a very good one, and he liked his current guitar a lot, but maybe if he made it really ROCKIN'. What would he like in a guitar? It was a really deep question, if you got right down to it, so he wanted to make sure he didn't make any mistakes and pick somthing stupid.

It really didn't help that, whenever he did try to think about it, all he could think of was Teddy and sex, because he was really preoccupied with later tonight.

Nadia leaned over after a few moments of ~~seriously awful~~ sketching, to see what Chad was working on.

"You know, you're supposed to draw on the paper."

Chad turned his head to look down at the leaning-in Nadia and arched an eyebrow. "So that's what it was. I wasn't sure." The sarcasm was noted with a grunt.

"Not sure what to draw yet," he admitted.

Nadia nodded. "You should do something that, like, shows who you are. Maybe something like your, you know, arm thing."

With that first statement, Chad was really doubtful that Nadia was going to contribute much help, but then that last part totally made up for it. He straightened a little.

"Arm thing would be totally cool...." he admitted, and the wheels in his head slowly shifted in that direction.

Nadia nodded. "Totally." She turned back to her drawing, now reconsidering the whole Argentine flag thing. ". . . but now I don't know what I want to do."

Chad thought about it for a moment, trying to sketch out his arm thing. A lot of the attempts ended up looking...kind of dirty. "Well, maybe something with a gremlin? 'Cuz of your mad mascot skills?"

Nadia wrinkled her nose. "No. . . . That wouldn't work once I graduate."

"Why not?" Chad asked, small tilt of his head. "Jus' 'cause you're not here anymore doesn't mean the Gremlin won't always be a part of you."

Nadia's eyes went slightly wide and she made a face. "That's . . . kinda disturbing. Thanks, Chad."

Awwww, he thought he was being...philosophical. Or something.

"Teal deer, maybe? Little less disturbing?"

"But that's not just me." Nadia shook her head. "I mean, no one else anywhere has your arm thing, right? I don't have anything like that."

"My arm thing isn't that special. I never met anyone who had it, sure, but the only reason I got it is 'cause of my friend Ichigo...."

"I'm not sure I believe that, but okay."

Shawn started sketching out a simple guitar design, he's going for aesthetic, and ROCKING if he can possibly manage it.

Kaoru stared at his paper for awhile. He had no what to draw as his design. The only thought in his mind was to incorporate being a twin into it...

He's not that scary.

No. I really have no idea about guitar construction.

I'm maaaaaking it all up as I go along!
