Kappa Kappa Gremlin Meeting [6.00PM FHT]

"Hey guys," Seely grinned. "Welcome to the first Kappa Kappa Gremlin meeting for the year, now the main purpose of this meeting for us guys to get to know each other a bit better over some pizza. But there are a couple of things that I'd like to bring up for you guys to think about."

"First and foremost, I'm sure that most of you have noticed that our beloved school now has a sorority," Seely said. "And I think you guys all know what that means. We're going to have to come up with a way to show the girls of Alpha Beta Gremlin, our care and support."

"Also, the Valentine's dance on Friday, I'm sure most of you will already have dates, being the charming bunch of ladies men we are, but I'm thinking that if any guys here who feel like doing the stag thing, now's the time to coordinate."

"And that's it from me, go, have pizza."

[Wait for OCD up!]

"Oof." Neil said with a whistle. "I'm afraid I don't know if she's still available or...err...not."

Which seemed kinder than saying your brother might have beat you to the punch.

"Is it worth the chance of being told no for the chance of a yes?"

"That depends on if she says no because she's going with Wyatt or not," Chris said.

"Hmm..." Neil said thoughtfully.

"If she is going with Wyatt, you'll hear about it after the dance regardless...and if she isn't, yet and you don't ask her because you're worried that she is, then you lost your chance to ask her before someone else did."

Chris smiled. "I think you're probably right. And if she's going with Wyatt, at least I know he's a good guy."

"Your brother does seem like a good guy." Neil agreed, though there was a sympathetic note to his tone cause, good guy or not, it always sucked when there was someone else in the race for the girl you liked.

"But you know, you just never can tell how something might turn out unless you give it your best shot. A guy I knew back home, you probably wouldn't have given him the best odds in a race against the captain of the football team for a girl but he came out on top."

Grinning, he sat forward with a twinkle in his eyes.

"Is there anything I can do to help?"

"Pep talks help," Chris grinned. "And it's nice to know there's someone in my corner. I'll have to see if I can track her down after the meeting."
