Alpha Beta Gremlin Meeting, Tuesday [6:00 PM FHT]

Summer waited excitedly in the music room for people to show up for the first Alpha Beta Gremlin meeting.

"Hi people," she greeted. "We all have Marie to thank for setting this all up, but she isn't able to be here today. Something about going to Canada with her boyfriend for a week. She's so lucky. But I'm not jealous, really."

Except she totally was. "Anyway, today's meeting is basically going to be a meet and greet type of deal. Also, brainstorming ideas for potential service projects would be awesome."

"Mas...Nadia!" D slid her greeting into something that sounded kinda stupid, but cheerful nonetheless.

"Not bad. Um, do you know what girls usually get their boyfriends on Valentine's day?"

"Ummm, I know what guys sometimes get their boyfriends..." D shrugged because despite this being her second Valentine's ever? She had yet to have an Earth-based boyfriend. Her best friend did though. "I'm thinking candy is a good place to start?"

"Candy." Nadia nodded. "Okay, I might be able to do that. . . . I think I should go to the mainland or something, tonight, so I can look for something."

"Good luck with it." D said. "Oh, and maybe something like a pair of pajamas or a stuffed animal or a ratchet set."

With the boys at this school, there was no telling what each one was in to. Not dirty! This time.

Nadia tried to picture Walter cuddling a stuffed animal.

It was just about the cutest thing, ever, but she didn't see it as being that likely to happen.

"Thanks. I mean, I know he won't get mad if I don't get him something, but I feel like I should, you know? And I bet he already has something for me allllll planned out. Dating a butler? Is HARD."

"You're welcome." D smiled. "I'm sure if he really likes you, nearly anything will be fine. From what I've gathered, the important thing is that you're together that day."

"Walter and I were talking about getting a room at the hotel after my classes. But he has to work, first."

"We did it once . . . last summer." Anything predating when she went home for a year the previous summer was always hard to place chronologically. "Spent a day at the hotel. It was great."
