Alpha Beta Gremlin Meeting, Tuesday [6:00 PM FHT]

Summer waited excitedly in the music room for people to show up for the first Alpha Beta Gremlin meeting.

"Hi people," she greeted. "We all have Marie to thank for setting this all up, but she isn't able to be here today. Something about going to Canada with her boyfriend for a week. She's so lucky. But I'm not jealous, really."

Except she totally was. "Anyway, today's meeting is basically going to be a meet and greet type of deal. Also, brainstorming ideas for potential service projects would be awesome."

Annette wore a cheery smile. But it might be from the chocolate rose she just consumed before coming to the meeting.

Hi Annette," Summer said cheerfully, waving.

"Hi, Summer!" Annette said with a bright smile. "How are you today?"

"I'm pretty good," Summer replied. "Excited about the meeting. How are you?"

"Good. I'm glad," she answered. "Doing fairly well, thanks, and excited about the meeting too. I hope we can come up with some fun and nifty little projects to do!"

"We've got a pretty good group of people here," Summer said. "I'm sure we'll be able to come up with some great ideas."

She nodded, "I think so too." She glanced around at the other girls. "A great group!"

"Hey, Annette!" D greeted. "How's it going?"

"Hiya, D!" Annette returned, smiling. "It's going pretty great. How are you?"

"I can't complain. Can't wait for our competition next weekend."

"Oh, I know. I am feeling nervous already. Are you?"

"Ask me when we get to the causeway." D teased. "I'll have it figured out by then."

Chuckling, she nodded. "Yeah, I'm not going to think about it till then either. I'll be a nervous wreck."

"So, any idea what a sorority does anyway?" D asked.

"Actually? Not really. I know there are certain things that are partial to just soroities. Like secrets and rituals and passwords and all that that you hear. But then there are different types of sororities. I believe this one is a service one - so I guess what we'll do is concentrate on how our sorority can be beneficial to Fandom High in a pragmatic way." She shrugged a little, hoping that she was close.

"Do you know?"

"Not a clue." D shrugged. "We don't have them where I'm from but the boy's fraternity seemed like fun so I figured 'why not?'."

Ami waved at Annette, glad to see a familiar face

Annette waved back, "Hey, Ami! How's it going?"

"Pretty good, and you?" Ami came over so as not to shout across the room.

"Eating too much chocolate," Annette said on a chuckle.

"Oh, and hey, I was um, wondering how Billy was? He seemed a little...out of sorts last night." She was not intruding, honest, she was just wondering about a friend. Really.

"Is there really such a thing as too much chocolate?" Ami asked, remembering what the nun had said.

"Oh um, yes he is fine. He was bitten by a gremlin yesterday though..."

Annette arched a brow, "Are you serious?"

She was stunned. "How the heck did that happen? I've never even seen one of them yet!"

"Me neither. But apparently it made him think he was some horrible comedian from the past. I am not too sure on the details."

"Oh my. I saw him last night at Caritas. He sang, Ami. It bothered me. I had to leave. It was just too un-Billy and so totally strange." She twisted her lips. "As long as he is better now, that is all that matters."

"He sang? And i missed it?" Ami wondered at Annette's reaction. "Strange how?"
