Superheroing- Tuesday, February 13- 2nd period

As stated in Captain Liberty's E-mail, class is in the Danger Shop this week. "Hope you all remembered your costumes," she greets them. "Because this week you're going to get to work in them. Just a warning, you will be seeing weapons in this class, but they can't actually hurt you."

The room is set up to look like a bank on a regular old Tuesday morning. There are three tellers at the windows, a manager wandering around behind them, and about ten people inside the bank in line. Suddenly the doors open and a man in a ski mask walks in with a gun, yelling "Everybody down!"

That's when Captain Liberty pauses the simulation. "So what you're going to do in this class is try to stop the robbery. You don't have any weapons on your person. At least as far as I know and if you do, Princess Powerful is going to have to give you a detention slip," she says. "You'll go one at a time, make your entrance from the outside, and you can do whatever you need to in order to stop this. Use words, use any powers you have if you want, find something to use as a weapon if you need to. Just remember there are a lot of innocent people standing around. If you don't do that great, the simulation will stop and it's the next person's turn. Any questions?"

Once everyone had taken their turn with the simulation, she says, "Okay, guys, that's it for this week. For next week, I'd just like you to write up a little thing on what you think you did well and what you think you could have done better."


[The bank is totally moddable. Anything you'd normally find there should be in this one. No one's in danger of getting hurt, so everyone should be fine.
This is going up earlyish because I have to spend a huge chunk of tomorrow at work. I'll be around till late tonight, early tomorrow morning, and then pick up pings after work tomorrow.]>small>

Miley had no superpowers and very little experience with any types of weapons. So while she very easily snuck in through the front door, she wasn't sure what to do beyond that. Well, maybe one thing.

Taking a deep breath, she screamed very, very loudly.

The bank robber turns away from the male teller, pulling his gun away from him momentarily to just stare at the screaming girl. He might not have expected that.

Teddy took a deep breath before bursting in the doors, trying to look as intimidating as he could.

"Drop the weapon!"

The robber turns to look at him, not dropping the weapon but not pointing it directly at the teller anymore. "Just keep on walking out those doors," he orders, "and nobody gets hurt."

Pippi strode into the bank.

"Avast there!"

"You heard me!" the robber says. "On the floor!"

He might double take at the costume when he does turn his head towards her.

Cassie was going to try this the sneaky way, and shrunk down to about one inch high and carefully and quietly made her way towards the evil robber guy.

The robber has no idea Cassie's there, and is demanding that the teller take a bag to the safe to fill it up.

While Will had some experience fighting evil, it was more dealing with, say, blue-skinned medieval alien hunters riding evil rhinos, and less with standard criminals. Her main concern was with not getting shot here. Summoning the Heart of Candracar from inside her palm, she tried to assume a tough looking stance.

"Hey, stop that!" she yelled.

The robber looks over his shoulder at her, keeping the gun on the teller. "You! On the floor!"

Dressed in spandex tight enough to cause confusion about his religion, Seely struck a pose and coughed.

Gun trained on the teller, the robber looks back at Seely and almost stops short. Wow that's a costume, and he knows Seely's a superhero. "You'll never stop me!" he says.

Edward snuck up behind the bank robber. All he really had to do was get the gun out of his hands. Then Edward wouldn't need a weapon to fight.

The robber's jumpy enough to look over his shoulder at the wrong time. When he sees Edward he moves away from the teller, pointing the gun at Edward. "Nuh uh. You, on the ground. No funny business!"

Buffy strode inside the bank and waved her pom poms at the bankrobber. "Hi there!" Her arms moved to form letters. "C&D this instant!"

The bank robber turns to look at who's causing the noise... and there's a cheerleader. With arm spelling.

The bank robber has no comment for this, and gun pointing slightly downwards with the loss of concentration, he just keeps staring.

Katara slipped into the bank and, hand on her waterskin, frowned.

"You really should stop now before someone gets hurt," she said conversationally.

Layla made her best sweeping entrance, and tried to glare the robber down. "Stop this instant!" she yelled.

Ranma was not too good with guns but... he, despite being in his female form, tried to stand tall and sound tough. "Drop that gun!"

In his study of heroes it seemed to Peter that having some kind of battle cry was a great way to start off any actual heroing. So Peter took a deep breath and shouted:

"HIE THEE TO A NUNNERY!"

Sadly that was the best he could think of on short notice.

Peter had two ways of doing this. If he had webs, he would burst in, web up the gun, then punch the robber until he fell over.

Since he didn't have webs, it was time for the sneaky approach. He quickly and quietly slipped in the door and jumped to the ceiling, holding a "Shh" finger up to any hostages that were looking. He stopped a few yards away from the robber (and a few yards up, as well) and cleared his throat.

Molly walked quietly into the bank and went over to lean on the counter next to the robber. "You know, it's easier to do this when there's less people in the bank."

JD climbed up onto his stilts, making the incredibly large doctor's coat he was wearing look a bit more reasonable. He started shambling for the door and, with a bit of trouble, managed to get in without falling over.
