Detention 02/1007 - Saturday, Danger Shop

John was waiting for them outside an old, slightly rundown apartment building, leaning casually against his car.

"Good morning," he greeted them. "Nice to see you all bright eyed and eager. Hopefully you'll still be that way when you finish your detention. Please sign in on the list and take a knapsack."

He indicated a table next to the car which had a pile of knapsacks on it beside a paper that listed their names:

Katara
Steerpike
Jo Harvelle
William Kessler
Ami Mizuno
Liz Sherman
Turtle Wexler
Sam Winchester

When everyone had done so, John continued. "There's a ghost that's haunting the building behind me. Young women keep disappearing out of locked apartments never to be heard from again. One just disappeared last night out of apartment 309. You are going to find the ghost and stop it. Everything you need to do so is in the pack you've been provided. Once the ghost is no longer a threat, you're free to go."

"If there's no questions, you may begin."

[ooc: wait for ocd is up. Let's go ghostbusting.]

Turtle reached for the flashlight and shone it into the vent for a better look, really, really, really hoping it wasn't something that was going to jump out and eat off her face. She did kind of like her face, and all.

Ewwwww. Turtle really did wish she had found a billiard cue so that she could poke at it and see if it was alive, but the flashlight would have to do. With her other hand, she gripped the knife, as if she even knew how to potentially use it.

Except that most likely, it wasn't alive, because alive things reacted when you poked them. Usually. But, since Turtle in general didn't have too firm a sense of self-preservation, she took this all to mean she should reach in and grab it. It could be something important. Or it could be a dust bunny. Who knows?

Turtle immediately dropped it on the ground with a little bit of a scream. Because that? Was disgusting. Her nose wrinkled. "Guess we have an idea of what happened to one of the girls," she muttered to herself, and then looked through the bag again. Nope, nothing like little plastic bags to put evidence or something in. Wasn't part of, like, taking care of ghosts figuring stuff out? Turtle had no idea. Gingerly taking the hair by the very end of it, dangling it as far away from herself as possible, she got to her feet and headed toward the room. Even if she wasn't going to find anything else as far as information there, she could at the very least find something to put this in. Yeck.
