In a bizarre and striking change of pace, the classroom had normal classroom furniture today. "The Doctor asked Dean and myself to cover today's class," Zack said. "According to the syllabus, we're supposed to be doing 'Dressing to Not Get Killed'. My advice is to avoid high heels. Especially if you're a guy and have little experience wearing them.

"In fact," Zack said, "In order to prove how condusive high heels are to getting you killed, I made this."

He held up a shoe. "It's one of a pair of explosive high heels. Wearing it will get you killed, not wearing it may help you survive. Discuss this idea and how it can be taken further."

Dean had turned to stare at him with an expression of disbelief before turning back to the class. "In addition to that ever so helpful advice about not strapping explosives to your feet, you want to be open to the idea of disguises, Sometimes it can help to blend in, to hide, or to bluff your way out of something. Or to get people to tell you things they wouldn't otherwise. So what we want you to do is brainstorm some possible situations where disguising yourself would be a good thing and what kinds of disguise would work the best." He glanced at Zack. "Right?"

"Right," Zack nodded. "That works too."

Dean smriked. "Once you've done that, pick one disguise and see what you can put together for it for next week's class."

"But avoid the heels," Zack said. "I seemed to have misplaced the other exploding one."

Dean stared at him again. "Dude, we so need to have a talk about appropriate use of explosives."

"Blending into the surroundings is always a good thing," Luke suggested. "Camouflage in the jungle, white in the snow, that kind of thing?"

He smiled. "And dressing like the enemy will get you into his detention block."

"So long as you're not wearing uniforms that are 100 years out of date."

Luke laughed. "Well, yeah. Costumes with masks or hoods are good, too. Especially if you're on a most wanted list."

Sokka chuckled. "Yeah. And they've gotta have a place to hide your lemur."

"Lemur?" Luke repeated, confused.

"My friend," Sokka explained. "He's got big tattoos and a pet lemur and the army's after him. We've done disguises a lot."

His lip quivered. "I miss Momo..."

Luke flailed a little bit. "Momo's your friend, then?" he asked. "I'm going to see my friend this weekend."

He paused. "Well, to be techincal, I'm trying to break him out of prison over the weekend."

"No... Well, yes, but --"

Sokka sighed.

"Aang's my friend. Momo's the lemur.

Do you need help with the prison break? My sister and I have done one before."

"Did you end up in a giant trash compactor too?" Luke asked, smiling.

"Nope, just covered in coal dust.

So... Do you need any help?"

Luke shook his head. "I've got it covered," he said. "I ran the plan past the superheroing teacher and everything! She's almost positive I won't die."

"You know what? Go for it. Have fun. Let me know how it went when you get back."

"So long as Zack stays away from my closet, anything I pick will be safe." D did that 'thinking out loud' thing.

Clothing choices as a topic? Summer was so okay with that.

"Disguises always makes me feel like it's Halloween," Ray said.

Pip stared blankly at everyone. "I'm six foot six, have an eye-patch, and hair down to my ass. Disguising myself is... kind of difficult."

"Dark glasses and a hat," Sokka informed him dryly. "NEXT!"

"Because nothing screams 'Hey, don't notice me!' like dark glasses and a hat," Pip countered.

"It depends. You could pull it off if you tried. I guess what you're trying to say is, you're not a very disguise-oriented sort of person."

"It's not very much an issue for me in my life, no. And I'm afraid that life has made it so that I dont' have a very good base for a disguise. I always understood that to be good at disguise? You had to be unmemorable. People my height are pretty memorable, even without my missing eye."

"Yes," Sokka declared, "but the fact still remains that most people your height aren't you. That's your big advantage. Work with it."

"I have to wear a uniform," Z said. "Disguises don't go too well with uniforms. Also, the bad guys are frequently robots or aliens, which are hard to disguise yourself as."

"I disguised myself as a boy for six years. Aside from swimming, it was actually a lot easier than you'd think." Alanna paused. "Possibly because most of my friends may be brain dead."

"It's hard to get around this," Stark said, tapping his mask with a finger. "Stands out. Especially here."
