The PA crackled to life, and Zoe silently hoped that the school board members weren't paying much attention for the moment.

"Good morning everyone. This is a reminder to the following students that you need to report for detention tomorrow morning with John Winchester:

Sam Winchester

In addition, the detention lottery has coughed up the following names: Katara, William Kessler, Ami Mizuno, Liz Sherman, and Turtle Wexler. Sorry, folks. I'd also like to remind everyone that the Superheroing class is having their fashion show this afternoon, so make sure you go and support them. That's all for this morning, thank you."

When Sam heard the announcements, he stopped dead in his tracks and facepalmed. Somehow, with everything else going on, he'd missed the fact that his dad would be the one holding detention. This was going to be very bad indeed.

There may have been a small, victorious sort of "whoo hoo!" at the announcement of the lottery 'winners.' Next week, though, Turtle wasn't going to take the gamble and would go the safe route of actually earning her dentention. She did, after all, have a new goal to accomplish.
