"Good morning once again and welcome to MUSIC IS LOVE!" Lorne exclaimed. "The show where kids compete for grades... not a record deal. Sucks for them, doesn't it?"

"First let's give a shout out to the gods in the room who also just happen to be our guest judges: Ares and Hades! And with out guest judges our appropriate theme is "War and/or Love is hell."

Lorne sat down at the judges table and looked eagerly at his students. "Let's hear what you got for us."

Alec went noticeably pale as soon as Lorne mentioned the girl, though he rallied and gave Lorne a dubious look as he smirked in a way that was painfully artificial. "I don't know what you're talking about, but how would you know if someone's coming after me?"

"Well there are some people in the world who have abilities," Lorne said with a knowing look. "Some get them from a scary government program who alter children's DNA to make them super soldiers. These kids are probably stronger. Faster. Teach people how to play the Piano. Look hot in leather pants. My abilities? I was just born with. When people sing to me I see a bit of their past and their future. In case you haven't guessed that yet."

Alec nodded, the smirk fading to something more sincere, but muted as well. "Guess I'd better watch my back then."
