"Good morning once again and welcome to MUSIC IS LOVE!" Lorne exclaimed. "The show where kids compete for grades... not a record deal. Sucks for them, doesn't it?"

"First let's give a shout out to the gods in the room who also just happen to be our guest judges: Ares and Hades! And with out guest judges our appropriate theme is "War and/or Love is hell."

Lorne sat down at the judges table and looked eagerly at his students. "Let's hear what you got for us."

Alec wasn't exactly happy with the theme as both hit somewhat close to home, but he got up to sing and he did it with feeling. The song may not have seemed exactly about one or the other, but once he'd found it he hadn't looked further.

For once Lorne didn't jump and down and applaud at someone's singing. Instead he just looked troubled.

As Alec was heading offstage he gave him the well known hand signal that teachers used the world over for: "See me after class."
