Newspaper Staff Meeting [4 PM, Journalism classroom]

The usual coffee and pastries were out, and Rory had gone to the extra care of ensuring there were actually napkins and whatnot around. She didn't want the visiting schoolboard members or her newest writers to think they were sloppy.

Of course, she was also curled up on the floor with her back against a wall, since her usual couch was off on a rant about how it hated being sat upon.

"One of the booard members is a crazy lifeguard who was thinking I might be attacked by a giant squid in my room," Peter explained. "In honor of him, I thought it would be a good idea to put together a piece about water safety. In February."
