Engineering 101 - Wednesday Period 2, Lesson Five, February 7

Geordi was seated at his desk as the students came into the classroom. He waited until everyone had sat down and the noise had quietened down before he stood up and walked around to the front of his desk so he could begin that day's class.

"Good morning," he said in his usual cheerful voice, "today we're going to be covering Biomechanics,".

The students would also find the following handouts on their desks.

"Now for today's lesson, I would like you to draw something relating to the study of biomechanics," there were drawing pads and pencils on each of the students desk, "this can be anything that you think is relevant,"

[ooc: wait for the OCD is up!]

Handwavey it was. Ami did her work. And lo, it was good.

Lucas was not so good at drawing. He spent the entire lesson getting frustrated and wearing down his eraser.

Bridge? Draws a sketch of RIC. He's a robot dog, built to simulate the way a real, living dog works (okay, except for the scanners and the lasers and the fact that he's a *little* tougher than, say, your average family pet), so he figures it counts.

Peter stared from his lecture notes to the pad of paper for a very, very long time as he tried to figure out what exactly he was supposed to be drawing.

In the last five minutes of class, he made a quick, sketch of someone fighting with a sword. Because when in doubt, revert to swords was his motto. Or something.

Peter drew a picture of a hand with a small diagram indicating the flow of blood as it engaged in a waving motion.

Rikku attempted to sketch some sort of robot-person hybrid thing.

John drew half a sketch of Termy before crossing it out, turning over the paper, and drawing Scorpy, his 4-armed prehensile tail semi-sentient fighty exoskeleton. Who could now make fudge and soup, thanks to Agatha.
