Zen Computer Science...

Flynn sat at his desk, staring up at the ceiling.
He really needed to get out more.

The class shuffled in, and he looked down towards them.

"Today, kids... You're going to stand up in front of the class and tell us what you liked and disliked about whatever it was
you played with last week. Then briefly tell us what you would do to improve it."

He surveyed the class.

"Who wants to go first?"

Nova? going first?

"Ami showed me... tic-tac-toe...."

You may have to beat anything else out of him.

When it was Naomi's turn she said, "I played FreeCell, the only thing I'd fix was the simplicity of the program,"

Nova frowned, which seemed to be his distraught reflex.

"There was a grid....and animal shaped markers...." he said, mostly stating facts rather than anything he particularly like about the game.

When it was Ami's turn she got up and started talking, really fast, like she wanted to get it over with.

"I played Chess. It was a pretty solid implementation, but the Expert setting for the AI opponent was not really difficult enough."

"I looked at Microsoft Excel. It seems like a useful program for mapping data. However, there wasn't any room for notes, just numeric data. It would be interesting if notes could be imput into cells along with the numbers, without wreaking havoc with the graphs."

Rikku bounced up and began chattering excitedly. "I found all kinds of neat things! I used the button that said START on it. There was a whole section of games, and one of them you found mines, but you couldn't click on the mines or else they'd blow up. I wish they had explained that, though."

"There was also a whole bunch of things that said they were an office but they weren't. And there was something that said it'd clean up the top of my desk, but it just changed what was on the screen. And there were a couple of programs that had different squares in rows and columns but I couldn't figure out what to do with that. Oh! And one said something about an Internet, but I didn't know how to use that, so I went back to the mines. And the playing cards."
