"Good morning class. Today is a lecture day. We'll be talking about guitar history."


"Now, the guitar itself arose from various instruments before what we know as the guitar came into existence. The first of these was the lute."

El gave a lecture on the lute's history, complete with handouts.

"Now, I got a few lutes for you guys. Why don't you try playing them and see what you think?"

Nadia was actually feeling more awake than she had in a few days, and even listened to this lute lecture.

Which is not to say her mind didn't wander on occasion.

Chad was definately keeping a watchful eye on Nadia in between annotating his handouts. He was relieved that she seemed to be a little more with it today, but he still worried.

Nadia noticed, at some point, that someone was watching her. She spotted Chad and rolled her eyes at him good-naturedly.

Really, she was just racking up the people who needed to know she was okay, wasn't she.
