When the students entered the Danger Shop, they found themselves standing on the side of a deserted highway at night time.

John was leaning against the same black car from the last time. "Welcome to Lone Pine Highway. The one mile stretch beginning just past that curve has had an inordinate amount of disappearances, going back decades. There have also been stories, told by people who've travelled this highway, about seeing a dark sinister figure on a black horse. Some of the stories go so far as to talk about the figure galloping after them brandishing a sword. Digging deeper into the area's local folklore, you would find a tale of a highwayman hung on a tree somewhere along this road back in Colonial times. His bones are said to be buried among the roots of the tree.

"Your assignment is to lay this ghost to rest without getting yourselves killed or injured." He looked around at the gathered students seriously. "Unlike the last ghost you faced, this one is very aggressive and dangerous and will attack you on sight. Keep that in mind and act accordingly.

"Also unlike last week, I'm allowing you to decide how to group yourselves in going after this ghost. You can pair up with whom you will, or even go in groups of three or four, or if you're feeling particularly brave -- or foolhardy -- you can attempt this alone. Although," John smiled slightly, "I wouldn't reccomend the latter.

"You'll find a large assortment of weapons and equipment in the trunk of this car; when you have chosen your group, choose what you think you'll need to defend yourselves and get the job done."

John leaned back against the hood of the car with a grin. "If there are no questions, you may begin when ready."

"Oh, hell yes." Parker grinned at her, and said, "How are you doing? I've been kind of hiding out."

"I was on library detail all day. So mostly I was trying to do research. Not that I found anything," she admitted with a sigh.

Parker grimaced, and loaded up her shotgun. "Not that unexpected. I'm glad the Halliwell brothers have some resources, but frankly, I'm out of ideas on how to help Bel. And stop something that goes by 'Source.'" She sighed. "Want the flashlight?"

Isabel nodded and took the flashlight. "Yeah, me to. I almost miss the trolls. At least they were simple to deal with. Oh and in the midst of all this? I almost stabbed Jack last night."

"Say what?" Parker tightened her hands on the gun, then relaxed. "What happened?"

"I think he'd been drinking. He snuck into my room at some ungodly hour of the night and I came up swinging." She rolled her eyes. "Thank god the case of the hairstick was blunt."

"Jesus. He is going to get so dead someday, just not thinking." Parker frowned, remembering what Rose had said. "Well. He should. He's just too damn lucky for his own good, some days."

Isabel thought about the conversation they'd had. Somehow she didn't think Jack would agree with that right now. "Well the good thing is, Greg had left earlier. That would have been fun to explain." She snickered, "Gee honey, Jack really doesn't sneak in her all that often."

Parker snickered. "Yeah, that would have been-- interesting. With a lot of Bambi eyes and surprised expressions." She picked up the flares, and cocked her head toward the woods. "You ready?"

"Lead the way," she grinned. "Let's go kick some ass."
