When the students come into the classroom, there's a little box of doughnuts in front of the class. "Go ahead and take one," Captain Liberty says. "It's cop food, but they're kind of like underflashy superheroes, too. Well, at least, the uncorrupted ones are. Anyway, hi. So just a little information about the fashion show next week. You don't have to show up to class on Tuesday next week, but you do have to show up with your costume to the auditiorium next Friday after classes. I will be checking attendance, and if you don't show up or participate, that's going to be a huge chunk out of your grade. I haven't done the math yet to find out how much, but it'll be a chunk. Also know that while you won't have to wear the costumes to class, you will be expected to wear them for a couple of practical exercises in the Danger Shop. Remember that when you're coming up with them. Any questions?"

After any questions had been asked, Captain Liberty continued, "So this week we're going to talk about how not to die like a punk. Punks don't die pretty. In fact, it's usually a quick and easy death and it's not really that heroic, so we'd like to avoid that. In fact, we'd like to avoid dying at all." She passes out a handout and says, "Read through that. Is there anything you'd like to add? Any questions? What would be the problems if you had to fight in an ordinary classroom and how would you deal with it?"

[Second verse same as the first. Job from hell till 6:30 PST, so I will pick up pings then. Feel more than free to get into discussions with each other on the subject.]

"Do we have to go out on a stage...?"

"Uh huh," she says. "If you're going to be really embarrassed about it, give your costume a mask. No one'll know who you are."

"But... I'll still know who I am..." His stage experience thus far at this school makes him extra cautious and afraid of it.

She pauses and says, "But with a superhero name!"

She's trying here.

Ranma remains unconvinced, but he meekly agrees. "Right..."

Oh no... preforming again. He starts his mental freak out.

"Is it okay if we don't follow all of the rules that were mentioned in the costume class?" Peter asked. He was really into the trenchcoat idea.

"Sure," she says. "Just never tell Edna. Everyone has their own style."

"My lips are sealed," Peter promised.

Will raised her hand. "Is there definitely going to be a private, lockable changeroom in the auditorium, or do we need to change elsewhere before the show?"

Yes, she was likely a little paranoid about this point.

"If you want to change beforehand to avoid a line, go for it, but I'm ~~handwavily~~ arranging it ~~somewhere~~. Feel free to use this room if you need," Captain Liberty offers.

JD is obviously daydreaming. Hopefully about his costume.
