Bridge totally didn't almost forget he's got a new Library day. Nope. He's here, *on time*, with coffee in hand.

"You and Willow are okay, though?" Bridge asks.

"Isn't that the thing you're training to be?" Angela asked. "So is one of them you?"

"I think so," Peter said. And he was uncertain about this but didn't really want to admit it.

"Not... exactly?" Bridge tries to figure out how to explain it. "In my reality, the show takes the things that happens to the Power Rangers in real life and kind of... fictionalizes them?" He points to the red Abaranger figure (http://www.grnrngr.com/toys/pictures/10710.jpg). "That one's based on Conner, though."

Bridge winces slightly. "It wasn't us."

Angela nodded. "So they're like based on a true story," she said. "That's kind of cool."

"I didn't know that about Conner," she said, watching the figure for a moment. "I mean, I've talked to him maybe twice."

She turned to face Bridge. "So ... are you okay? With everything." She hoped she wouldn't have to get more specific.

"I know," Peter said. He didn't actually. "But still, I'd rather apologise and be sure things are fine." He grinned a bit, trying to change the subject. "Isabel and I agreed we'd spent the weekend reading enthralling books."

"I don't know," Bridge admits. "I mean, it's better, for both of us, now that Rory and I aren't dating any more, but with Xander being back, it makes it complicated."

"The toy thing is definitely odd," Marie agrees before giving Bridge a critical look. "Are you really okay or are you just saying that?"

"Talking to Xander was, um, interesting," Bridge admits after a moment of hesitation.

Bridge laughs. "I like that idea."

"Me too," Peter said, grinning more. "Non-pied books even. Especially not custard pie books."

"Interesting good, interesting bad or interesting you don't want to talk about it in public?" Marie asks.

"I still haven't answered his e-mails," Angela admitted. "It's been such a completely insane week ... though, I mean, I guess yours has been worse. How is he?"

"All of the above?" Bridge tries. "It's been almost seven years for him, since he left."

There is a long moment of silence before Marie can even think about responding. "Oh, wow," she finally says, ever so eloquently. "So that would make him... twenty five or twenty six?"

"He's... well, he's 26," Bridge says with a sigh, as if that explains everything.

"Twenty-six, yeah," Bridge nods. "So, yeah. That we've both changed since he left is... something of an understatement."

"Yeah, definitely," Marie agrees. "I don't think there's an easy answer to your situation."

"Ohhhh," Angela said, tucking her hair back. "That's ... kind of big."

Conner got Bridge's phone call, so he wanders into the library.

"What's up, dude?"

Bridge, with his best innocent expression ever, points to where AbaRed and DekaRed are currently duking it out.

"I had a piece of book-pie when I talked to Marie the other night," Bridge says. "Wasn't too bad, actually."

Conner stares.

And makes up his mind never to come to the library again because there's always trauma in it for him.

"No! No! I do not have bulges in weird places like that!"

Bridge laughs. "You don't like tiny plastic you?"
