Welcome to class, everyone. I made lemon cake, please have some.

We are going to begin the hygiene chapter today! I hope you are excited as I am.

Today's lecture topic - Proper Flossing!

Please share what topics you'd like to see discussed in our hygiene segment so we can discuss them Tuesday.

Also, if you haven't decided on an area of study for your project, that is due today. If you need help, let me know.

Don't forget to sign in, I have a updated syllabus for you when you leave.

Quick note - anyone who hasn't made it to class yet will be cut by Tuesday. I'll post a final roster then. If you are short a class because your teacher has left Fandom, last chance to sign up is today.

Could we possibly discuss the care and feeding of household pets under hygiene, Mrs. Van De Kamp? I feel it is very important to keep such matters tidy and under control.

"There's a gremlin," Wednesday began, frowning slightly. "Also a large canine, on occasion, and..." She paused. "Do carnivorous vines count as pets or would they be considered house plants?"

The pet idea sounds cool, I was thinking maybe skincare as well, you know how to keep a nice pale complexion

Oh yes, I agree. You have lovely skin, by the way. Do you exfoliate regularly? I have problems with my skin being so delicate - I use a liquid exfoliant *whispers* or I peel. Dreadful.

*Paige smiles again* If I have to go into the sun I always wear a hat, or carry a parasol, it's nice to have a little glamour in your life isn't it?

Sakura walks into class and sits down with a notebook, folding her arms on the desk and leaning on them. She watched the girls in the room, only half-awake. She'd stayed up late the night before trying to make sense of the texts she'd borrowed from the library about History...

"I agree with Wednesday, care of pets is good to keep up with." she said softly, thinking of Kero. He didn't really count as a pet, but he certainly made just as much of a mess as one.

Do you have a pet as well? How lovely. They do make such a mess though. You can't let them near your furniture.

Sakura nodded.

"Yes, Mrs. Van De Kamp. Kero's all right with the furniture, really... he's very well behaved..." she paused a moment. "...and he sleeps in the empty drawer in my bureau..." She made a face at how odd that must have sounded. She looked up to Mrs. Van De Kamp sheepishly. "Really, he's just a bit of a pain in the butt."

Boone signs in, and takes a seat. He doesn't feel weird at all, though he knows he probably should. Most guys wouldn't be caught dead in a Home Ec class. But he likes it. And, he wants to be a wedding planner, after all, so Home Ec seems like the perfect class for him to take.

It's pretty cool you can get class credit for it then. Ms Van Der Kamp's letting me decorate my boyfriend's place for my project which I was gonna do anyway!

For hygiene, can we cover hidden germs in the household? Most people understand that the kitchen or bathroom can be a breeding ground for germs, but the bedroom can be awful as well. Clean sheets are so necessary!
