Superheroing 101- Tuesday, January 16- 2nd period

When the students have arrived, Captain Liberty gives them all a big smile. Last week's cardigan has been completely done away with. It was annoying and didn't go with the outfit.

"Welcome back! Today's going to be a pretty easy day, but don't think it's less important," she tells them. "Last week you took on superhero names. This week you're going to try to protect them. This is kind of an improv exercise, something you end up having to do a lot of in superhero work. Pair up. One of you will be the superhero keeping a mild-mannered and very ordinary facade going, and the other will play a close friend or family member who's just found something typing you to your superhero. Maybe they noticed that you look a lot alike, or hey, you didn't show up to your best friend's party because you were saving a train full of people or something. Do whatever you have to to keep your superheroness a secret, short of punching anyone because then I have to give detention. Be as creative as you want, and try to pair up with people you don't know. If you need help with anything, I'll be around, as will my TA, Princess Powerful. Have fun with it, guys."

[OCD is coming up.
So I'll be around a little tonight, and Tuesday until about 8:30 am PST. Not sure how long I'm working, but will pick up any pings when I get back.]

"Oh thank you! I like to think my cheering is very powerful and inspiring too!" Buffy smiled brightly. "Saaay, haven't I seen you climbing walls in a heroic way?"

"Nope," Peter said, "although that was a nice attempt to get the pressure off of you, Triple P."

"I don't even have P's in my name," Buffy protested. She gave him a thoughtful look. "Unlike you, Double P. I think we might be dealing with transference here. Do you want to join the cheerleaders that badly?"

"My girlfriend would probably break up with me if I were a cheerleader, so no," Peter said. "However, I find it strange that you responded to me when I called you 'Triple P' even though you claim that it's not your name, Pommers."

Buffy giggled and quickly covered her mouth. "Ahem. Well, you were obviously talking to me! I can't be blamed for your delusions!"

"You can be if that's one of your Pom Pom powers," Peter said. That didn't make much sense, but he was going with it.

Buffy blinked at him. "Uh..."
