When the students have arrived, Captain Liberty gives them all a big smile. Last week's cardigan has been completely done away with. It was annoying and didn't go with the outfit.

"Welcome back! Today's going to be a pretty easy day, but don't think it's less important," she tells them. "Last week you took on superhero names. This week you're going to try to protect them. This is kind of an improv exercise, something you end up having to do a lot of in superhero work. Pair up. One of you will be the superhero keeping a mild-mannered and very ordinary facade going, and the other will play a close friend or family member who's just found something typing you to your superhero. Maybe they noticed that you look a lot alike, or hey, you didn't show up to your best friend's party because you were saving a train full of people or something. Do whatever you have to to keep your superheroness a secret, short of punching anyone because then I have to give detention. Be as creative as you want, and try to pair up with people you don't know. If you need help with anything, I'll be around, as will my TA, Princess Powerful. Have fun with it, guys."

"You've worn a skirt. Tights aren't that far behind," Jamie pointed out.

"Skirts are manly, tights not much."

Granted, Jamie can't really argue that since he wore a dress last week.

"Okay, but what about the Love Machine logo blazoned on the chest? I don't thank Door would go by that handle."

"Jamie," Seely said warningly. "There are things about my roomie that are none of your business, and that's one of them."

"So if I ask her about being The Love Machine you'll come after me?" Jamie grinned.

"If she wants me to," Seely said. "Hopefully she will, there are some things you don't ask a lady."

"I'm asking about her secret identity," Jamie replied. "Not about her love life."

"A name like that, you're asking about both."

"Not necessarily," Jamie replied. "A name like that is probably chosen by someone who is insecure about their ability to... perform. Mostly likely the someone in question is lousy in bed."

"I guess so," Seely replied. "Which is why you shouldn't be talking about my roomie like that."

"Well I'm not saying about your roommate per se, just any particular person who would choose that name," Jamie pointed out. "I wouldn't say that to her face."

"So you'd talk about her like that behind her back," Seely growled.

"Not really. Because I'm pretty sure it's you and you're deflecting the whole identity on your roommate," Jamie grinned. "Which in itself? Pretty un-heroic if you ask me."

"Good thing I'm not the Love Machine then," Seely replied. "And all I said was that she lost a pair of tights."

"Tights that wouldn't fit someone who is just a tad over five feet," Jamie added ~~after checking with Door's mun~~. "Actually it would be for someone about your size."

"Maybe she's bought me a late Christmas present," Seely said. "I don't know."
