When the students walk in, they should notice a woman standing at the front of the room. Wearing a really pretty revealing costume... and a cardigan over it so students won't be staring at her chest. Shhh. It's more professional for the first day.

"Good morning!" she says once everyone's taken their seats, a syllabus on every desk. "I'm Captain Liberty, and welcome to Superheroing 101. I am a professional superhero. Trust me, I wouldn't dress like this on a normal basis." God, she hates the cardigan. She feels like one of those really young teachers she had in school who used to dress like her grandma. Luckily she's missing the lacy collar and the flats with bows on them. "In this class, you'll get to learn the ins and outs of identifying a bad guy, getting rid of one, and also dealing with the, um, more personal sides of it. And by the way, no, I don't have superpowers. They're great and definitely a help if you have them, but hopefully by the end of this you'll figure out that having common sense and the right mindset helps just as much. Also, if you know the people I do, common sense is kind of a rarer commodity." Sigh.

"But for now the first thing we're going to do is decide on superhero names. You'll be using these names- not your real ones- anytime you're in class," she says, and yes she's pleased with coming up with that when she has three Peters in the class. "The only thing I ask is that if you are going to go into professional superheroing, or already do, don't use your real fake name. If anyone in the class goes evil and turns into a supervillain, you don't want them knowing your real identity. That gets messy.

"Once we've done that, we're going to go around the room so you can introduce yourselves. Go ahead and add in any powers you're willing to divulge and if you have a superheroing experience, feel free to tell a story. Plus, naturally being both teenagers and potential superheroes, you're bound to want to talk about yourself somehow. We're all about sharing here!"

Which isn't code for Captain Liberty failing at coming up with an actual assignment for class yet, nope.

Molly didn't even have to think about what name she would use. So, she just kicked back and tried to remember the names other people decided on. It was her duty as TA to know these things.

Cassie smiled and waved at Molly. "I heard you were here. Hi."

"Hi, Cassie. Somebody told me there was a superhero named Cassie here. I shouldn't be surprised that it's you," Molly said with a grin before glancing briefly over at Teddy. "You from the same reality as Teddy? He told me that the... stuff happened the last time he went home. Is it the same for you?"

Cassie nodded. "Yeah, the same," she said. "I'm... really glad to be here, instead of back home."

"We were lucky to stay out of the rest of it," Molly said, referring to her other friends back in LA. "I hope... No, nevermind. I shouldn't say anything since things could happen differently for you." She gave a light shake of her head and grinned again. "Do you like it here so far?"

Cassie nodded. "Other than being assigned a boy roommate? Everything is going pretty nicely. I even have a job already."

"Wow. I've been here a year and a still haven't gotten a job," Molly said with a grin. "Where do you work and who's your roommate?"

"All and Sundries," Cassie said. "I start today. And my roommate is Haruhi. He's from Japan."

"I haven't met him. He must be new," Molly said. "Nice, I hope?"

"So far so good," Cassie said. "He's not tried anything, so that's a good sign."

"I certainly hope not!" Molly said.

"He seems the quiet type," Cassie said. "So I figure I just scare him a little, but still be friendly, and he'll keep in line."

Molly grinned. "The guys learn real quick around here to keep in line," she said.

"Good. That's exactly how I like them," Cassie said. She glanced over at Captain Liberty. "The teacher sure seems knowledgable. I wonder why I've never heard of her."

Molly shrugged. "She's probably from a different dimension," she said. "Like Mr. Dean Professor The Tick ~~not that I know they sort of know each other yet~~. There are people from a lot of different places here and some of them have superheroes too."

"Yeah, and so many people come from ones that don't," Cassie said. "It's weird having to explain the Avengers all the time."

Molly nodded. "I know!"

"It's gonna be fun having a class with you," Cassie said. "Just don't throw any more jeeps at me, okay?"

"I already promised Teddy I wouldn't," Molly said with a laugh. "I guess I can promise you the same thing."

"Thanks," Cassie said. "I appreciate it."

"I'm not sure I should have a superhero name," Katara said thoughtfully to Molly. "And I like my own name."

"It's a thing," Molly said. "I don't really use a code name at home, but a lot of the heroes do so that the villains can't hunt them down at home."
