Good Omens...And Bad: Prophecy in Theory and Practice, Lab Fourteen

As always, students have their pick of a nice arrangement of breakfast treats and beverages. The seating has been arranged into more of a circle than the usual pairs, and in one of the chairs is seated a blond boy in his mid-teens.

"Good morning, everyone! I want to remind everyone that your final projects are due in the box in my office by the end of the day.

This has been an amazing experience for me, and I want to thank all of you again for making my first teaching job such an enjoyable one.

Today, since it's our very last day, we're going to forego the usual experiments. Instead, we have a guest speaker, who's going to tell you a little bit about his experiences with being the subject of a prophecy. Class, this is an acquaintance of mine from Lower Tadfield, Adam Young."

Raising an eyebrow, Aziraphale decided that if it went with the cookies, then he ought to open it up right then. He did so, and then laughed delightedly at the plate.

"Thank you, Miss Longstocking. It's really lovely, and I'll use it right away."

And indeed, he immediately arranged the cookies on the plate and set them next to his chair.

"I figured that if you used it for cookies, you would use it every day." She grinned.

Laughing, Aziraphale had to nod his agreement. "Quite. Although I do think I can find a use for it every day, no matter what."

He hugged Pippi warmly. "Thank you, my dear."

Pippi hugs back, possibly lifting him off his feet.

"Merry Christmas!"

"Happy Christmas!" Aziraphale replied, not minding being lifted off his feet one bit, even if it was a little disconcerting.

"And you enjoy your holiday, and do try not to get into too much trouble."
