Applied Science - Thursday Period 2

The sub today is passing the time by glaring at the students as they file in. It seems that her holiday routine of baking and present wrapping was interrupted by the cancellation of the other sub that was supposed to administer the final. Thus, she's not up for talking and she's not up for fun and games.

"Today's final will be easy for those of you who attended class, studied and retained information that was taught during this class."

She passed out a short final with one essay question: Take one daily, mundane thing that has occurred in your life and tell me how you either applied science to it or how you could've applied science to it.

"Once you are done, you can leave. Have a pleasant holiday."

Shawn wrote an okay handwavey! essay about how he fixed his computer using cable ties... which, was kinda science, maybe? It probably would have been better had his books not been on the offensive the last couple of days.

Hikaru wrote a decent handwavey essay about him and his brother's 'Christmas Tank' making endeavor. He figured that would work, since mechanics and motors were part of science.

Z wrote a decent handwavey essay about the physics and engineering involved in building a city where giant robotic assault vehicles were likely to run amok. She showed a high degree of comprehension of the subject matter because to her, this was normal and everyday.

((Solid C, this one.))

Hermione ends up completing an essay that ends up being three pages of loose leaf paper, front and back, and the end kind of runs into the margin a little.

Science? Janet had this subject solidly down, and breezed through an exemplary essay.

A, thanks kindly
