Internet for Dummies, Wednesday 12/20, 3rd Period

Abby had moved the desks in the computer lab around so there was a clear space in the middle of the room. She was standing there, bouncing slightly and holding an air horn.

"Welcome to our final class! You guys have been awesome and I really didn't feel like writing a final test so I came up with the internet olympics. You're going to be split up into teams and compete against each other for snazzy prizes." Abby waved an hand over a table piled with electronic goodies, NCIS hats and bags and of course, Caf-Pow.

"So grab team members and get ready for the first event, the logging-on relay. First team to successfully log online wins!"

Angela double-clicked it. "It says it's searching for a connection," she said hopefully. "That sounds good, right?"

Angela shook her head. "Uh-uh. Oh, look, it found something .... but it says it's secure. What do you think that means?"
