Internet for Dummies, Wednesday 12/20, 3rd Period

Abby had moved the desks in the computer lab around so there was a clear space in the middle of the room. She was standing there, bouncing slightly and holding an air horn.

"Welcome to our final class! You guys have been awesome and I really didn't feel like writing a final test so I came up with the internet olympics. You're going to be split up into teams and compete against each other for snazzy prizes." Abby waved an hand over a table piled with electronic goodies, NCIS hats and bags and of course, Caf-Pow.

"So grab team members and get ready for the first event, the logging-on relay. First team to successfully log online wins!"

Jude rolled his eyes. "Thaaaaanks, br - ma'am. How many pieces did you want the laptop in, anyway?"

Abby wheeled over a chair and pointed at it. "Plant yourself here and I'll push you. I promise not to run you into anything really hard."

Must not make dirty Chad joke . . . "'ppreciate it, bra." Jude gingerly settled into the chair and abandoned his crutches. He held the laptop in one hand and balanced the Caf-Pow beside the touchpad. "Okay, go!"

Abby leaned forward and pushed Jude hard towards the other line, skirting around a chair and heading dangerously close to a table.

Jude couldn't help the instinctive 'hwah!' as they neared the table, cradling precious caffeine in the crook of his arm. Slurp, type, chug, type type type, chug, twitch, repeat.

At the last moment, Abby detoured past the table and shoved Jude across the finish line. "Whoo! That was fun!"

"Wall wall wall -" WHAMPF! Jude shook his head, his pupils dilated. "Let's do it again!" Bounce! Bounce!

He chugged the last of his Caf-Pow. "Aww, it's gone . . ."

Abby was not a caffiene pusher. At all. So the fact that she sidled up to Jude and passed him a Caf-Pow was totally innocent.
