Conner had his helmet off, and was sitting in the middle of the cafeteria eating his way through a huge plateful of meetleuff and meshed putetues. Apparently being morphed for four days straight was making his metabolism a little hyperactive.

Just happy to be back at FH and lured in by the meetlueff, Peter stopped by the cafeteria before War Theory.

He blinked at Conner as he carried a plate of meetlueff and putetues and gree beuns to a seat. "Did you run out of clean clothes?" he asked.

"Ironically? I did laundry on Sunday," Conner said with a wry smile. "And I'm getting to the point where I wish I could wear some of it. I've been stuck in this suit since I woke up Monday morning, otherwise I'd have gone with Jamie and everybody to go help Marie."

"We could have used you," Peter replied. "And the uniform would have fit in since we ran into some friends of Jamie's who seem to wear them. But stuck? Really?"

"Stuck," repeated Conner, somewhat sheepishly, tapping his morpher. "I sort of made a wish to have my life the way it used to be if I copped to being a Ranger, so I ended up geting stuck in morphed form and I can't power down."

Peter grimaced. "Talk about the wish rebounding on you. I suppose the fairy tales were right. Any possibilities on ways to make it go away?"

"That's what I'm hoping to find out." Conner carved off a chunk of meatloaf and scarfed it down, then continued, "I already ruled out making another wish. There's no telling how that would come out. I'm gonna talk to Bridge or Z, see if they can get in touch with anyone from SPD who might have ideas. If not, I start pestering all the tech whizzes around here."

"Hopefully they can help," Peter agreed. "Though given Fandom's special...properties, it's probably never happened before."

"Not here, anyway," Conner said. "It happened to Doc -- to one of my teammates back home, once, but that had nothing to do with magic."

He stirred his mashed potatoes and asked, "So I'm guessing everything went okay with the rescue? How's Marie doing?"

"Well, the Statue of Liberty in that dimension is no longer standing," Peter replied. "But everyone got home safely if bruised and tossed around. I think Marie is mainly happy to be back. Thankfully she wasn't hurt at all."

"Good," Conner said with emphasis. "I was worried about her, and the rest of you guys. I would've gone, if I wasn't a giant walking target right now. I don't think that would've helped things much."

"It was really the girls doing a spell and then Zuko who saved us all," Peter replied. And if he sounded a bit concerned about the spell bit, well, he was. "And by not coming, you didn't have to listen to Jamie's music."

"Was it that bad?" Conner looked a bit twitchy about the spell bit himself. "Well, good job. I guess I should go find Marie sometime soon, just so she doesn't think I forgot about her, huh?"

"Not that bad though it could have been," Peter explained. "I'm sure she'd be happy to see you." He grinned. "Though I'm not sure she'll be letting Jamie out of her sight anytime soon."

"Could you blame her?" asked Conner, laughing. "I wouldn't, if I was in her shoes. Which I, uh, couldn't be right now anyway."

Sometimes he forgot about the line between literal and metaphorical.

Peter laughed. "Even if you could, I don't think they'd fit you."

"And that too." Conner decided that taking a big bite of mashed potatoes was a better option than saying something possibly even more dorky at that point.

Peter mushed his meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans together before starting to eat. "Has anything interesting gone on this week? Beyond your very bright clothing situation?" He asked with a grin.

Conner stared at the mushing process with a very tiny bit of horror. "So far? Not that I know of. It's been pretty quiet with you troublemakers out on the road," he teased.

"Oh yes, well, we shall have to get right on that," Peter replied, laughing and not noticing the mushing-induced horror. "Perhaps we could try to glue you to something this time?"

"I have enough problems with being stuck right now, thanks!" Snickering, Conner shook his fork at Peter and narrowly missed hitting him with a bit of mashed potato.

"And I don't think nail varnish remover will unstick you," Peter said. "Though," he tried to keep a straight face as he pretended to think. "Have you tried it?"

"Haven't tried that," Conner said. "Z tried scissors, though, and no dice."

"We could fill up the pool with the remover? Dip you in," Peter replied, amused at the picture.

"That much of it might be poisonous," Conner said dubiously, although he had to admit the picture was amusing.

"Ah, that would be bad," Peter agreed. He glanced at the helmet. "At least that's not stuck on."

"Good thing, too, or I couldn't eat," Conner said with a nod. "People keep wanting to tap on it, though. Not that I blame them."

Pippi grabs a bunch of everything and takes a seat.

With the improvement in his mood lately, his appetite had returned. So he got a bit of everything, and headed over when he spotted Pippi.

"Hey there."

"Hey. So, this (http://www.cafepress.com/opheliasart.89793136) is for you. There was one that had a skull and crossed candy canes but someone snatched up the last one."
