This is today's Study Hall. It's basically a free period in which you can go and do whatever you want at Fandom High -- hang out with friends, study, explore the school, etc. -- just as long as you stay on school grounds.

Ah, yes, the Jedi thing. It's definitely got its advantages (lightsabers, galactic prestige, etc., etc.) but the "form no attachments" thing is a little stupid. I mean, I'm a teenager--genetically programmed to want to form attachments.

Have you seen the girls at this school? Begging to have attachments formed.

Jedi have no family. It's part of the deal. Other one of those down sides.

OOC: I just find this all TOO DAMN HILARIOUS to have Captain Apollo meet Anakin Skywalker. Because OMG, the original BSG was a Star Wars rip off and Apollo is supposed to be Luke and OMG, sci fi is hilarious.

Yup, detachable. Let me just tell you now, if you plan on stealing one (as a prank! I didn't want to keep it. Er, I mean, this being didn't want to keep it), you better be way, way faster than its owner is. Because he gets really, really angry.

Oh, and not having family doesn't mean there isn't something to live up to. The people at my old school, they think I'm the fulfillment of some great prophecy. Half of them look at me like I'm some kind of deity, the other half like I'm an unexploded missile in the Younglings quarters. *pouts broodily*

The prophecy says I'm going to bring balance to the Force. Most people see this as meaning I'm going to defeat the Dark Side, the Sith. Some aren't quite as sure.

Me? I'm still learning. And they have to teach me about the Force, about all of it, if I'm going to know what to do later.

But they won't. *scowls*
