When the students enter the music room they'll see that it is decked out for the holidays. As a matter a fact several different ones. Some people celebrate Christmas in July. Lorne apparently thinks you should also celebrate the Fourth of July in December.

True it's not the fourth of December, but let's not tell him that.

"Hey kittens! I hope you had some fun with your little bots last week. Before you start telling me how much fun you had with them, I want everyone to come up here and sing their favorite holiday song!"

Parker doesn't feel much like singing today, but, there is one song she can get behind as they head toward the holidays and Finals.

Santa's stressed out as the holiday season draws near
He's been doing the same job now going on two thousand years
He's got pains in his brain and chimney scars cover his buns
He hates to admit it, but Xmas is more work than fun

He needs a vacation from bad decorations and snow
Mr. Claus has a has escape plans, a secret that only he knows
Beaches and palm trees appear night and day in his dreams
A break from his wife, half-frozen in life
The elves and that damn reindeer team

Santa's run off to the Caribbean
He thinks about boat drinks and fun in the sun]
Ho, ho, ho and a bottle of rhum

Plastic creations and crass exploitations aren't good
He wants to go back to simple toys made out of wood
Just for the weekend he's like to be Peter Pan
Get out of his long johns and dance with a sword in the sand

Snata's off to the Caribbean
Marimbas, calimbas, he's playing steel drums

Parker is definitely looking forward to her trip to Greece.

"It made me break up with Seely Booth." Parker glared at the bot, who started playing I Need A Hero, then shut up when she kicked at it.

Pip cheated. Because that's what he does.

Instead of singing anything, he played "Carol of the Bells" on his guitar.

It wasn't a traditional Christmas song, but she'd found it on a holiday album, so she felt it counted.

Now it's almost Christmas Eve,
And I'm surrounded with the sound of laughter,

A fitting ending for the fool that I was,

And I'd still be standing in the snow.

Sam may have looked a little sheepish as she put her parts o' bot on the table.

Parker snickered. "Can you do that to mine?"

Lorne gasped dramatically. "You killed it!"

"Not killed! Tried to make...yeah, okay, I killed it," Sam admitted, "but it's only temporary and it was singing boy bands at me."

"All you need is a hammer, Parker," Sam said dryly.

"Hmmm. Zero? Can I borrow your mallet?"

The bot went and hid behind Lorne, spontaneously playing If I had a Hammer and then cutting off half-way through.

"Nice."

Unrepentant, Parker said, "It scored my last break-up scene with Paul Simon. It's lucky I didn't put it in a trash compactor."

"What did it score your other break-up scene with?" Sam asked, "And Paul Simon? God, what were you doing?"

"Trying to tell Seely Booth that it wasn't going to work out. Fifty Ways to Leave Your Lover is not helpful when you haven't actually had sex with the guy." Parker made a face. "And my other break-up scene-- well, my last encounter with the ex-- was scored by Teal Dear. It's Called a Phone, Moron."

"Yikes," Sam grimaced. "Sorry to hear that."

Parker shrugged. "Thanks. I should get Zero to write me something cheerful and not so bloodthirsty, and play it 24-7. Maybe that'll help with the sanity."

"Or maybe you need something even more bloodthirsty and a target," Sam suggested.

"Troll killing really was helpful," Parker said in agreement. "I should go find more things to shoot." She paused. "Or maybe just net and hang upside down and have people point and laugh."

"In case it ever comes up, Parker, no I won't date you."
