Wilson had carefully dethawed and in some instances reheated the baked goodies that Phale had made and left for his Prophecy class. Schleping them up to the school, the young doctor headed into the class room and supressed a sigh at the homey configuration that reminded him of it's missing professor.

Setting up the baked nummies along with a group of hot beverages ranging from cider to cocoa, Wilson got himself some hot cider and a few gingersnap cookies and then settled down in an armchair to wait for the students to arrive.

When everyone was settled and in their seats, Wilson stood up, carefully took roll then set his cider aside for a moment.

"Good morning. As I'm sure you are all aware, Professor Aziraphale has had to leave us for a bit and I am helping his TAs cover his classes. Aziraphale left behind handouts for today's lab exercises and if you have any questions about the material, please speak with Miss Halliwell or Miss Belacqua. I will also be here if you have any general questions or concerns. Also, I wanted to let you all know that I am looking forward to today's performance. I have a video camera and will be taping it for Aziraphale to enjoy if when he returns."

Giving the class a reassuring smile, Wilson walked to where the handouts were sitting on the desk and began to pass them out to the class.

LAB TWELVE (FRIDAY, DECEMBER 8, SECOND PERIOD)

LECTURE: Onomancy (also sometimes referred to as onomamancy)is the process of divination through one’s name. This style is more frequently seen in China and Japan, where the characters used to spell a name also hold other meanings. It can, however, be done using the traditional meanings of Western names as well.

Graphology, or handwriting analysis, also has a parallel in the
scientific world. The difference is that while the science of analyzing handwriting is done to produce an understanding of the writer’s personality, the divinatory skill is used to produce a prediction for the writer.

"I... didn't realize Mr. Phale had gone when I saw you on Wednesday," she said quietly. "I'm sorry. I'm sure he'll be back soon."

Wilson smiled a little ruefully and admitted. "I hope."

Then he sat forward and waved Lana towards a chair next to his.

"How are you feeling?" It was a relaxed question, no pressure simply one of genuine concern for her well being.

"Good. Tired. Hopeful." Lana smiled. "Clark may have found a way to help his mother, so the Martha Kent from my timeline is here. So hopeful. And in general, good. But still a little tired and stressed from everything that's been going on."

"Really?" Wilson said and if he seemed to be sitting a bit stiller than he was a moment ago, perhaps it was just a trick of the light.

"Well, that sounds promising, Lana." He smiled.

She hesitated, not sure if she'd seen something or not. "Well... it's worth a try anyway, right?" she asked cautiously.

"Always." Wilson agreed with a reassuring nod. "It's always worth a try."

Lana nodded, feeling reassured. "That's what I thought," she said. "I don't quite understand what Clark has in mind, but it's Fandom so..."

"Exactly." Said Wilson. Then, after a moment's pause he asked softly. "Any increase in the desire to eat?"

"I..." Lana hesitated. "I'm not sure. But it's been easier to eat. I've been happier and less stressed and that always makes it easier."

"Those are both positive factors." Wilson agreed with a nod. "What do you think about continuing the B-12 shots for a bit?"

Lana nodded. "I don't think it will hurt and if it makes it easier for me to eat it will certainly make Jim feel better."

Which would in turn make Lana feel better and hopefully get a more positive cycle going.

"All right. I'll be on duty tomorrow evening, any time after 5 if you think you can stop by?"

Lana nodded. "I'm sure I can. Thank you so much, Dr. Wilson."
