Criminal Justice [first period, Tuesday 12/05]
Today, all the desks had been shoved aside and at the front of the room, a dart board had been set up. Off to one side, the communal practice fencing equipment was waiting, and across the room, there were texts on self-defense and, interestingly enough, books detailing homemade explosives which I'm not going to link because I'll be paranoid that I'll end up with government officials coming to take my computer away.
"Knowing your weapons is one thing," said V once everyone was assembled. "Many of us have a particular way we prefer to arm ourselves - a weapon that speaks to us, an ability upon which we depend. But it is vital that one hones all the skills. And so, today, I would like you to experiment with something with which you aren't familiar. Mr. Pevensie, for instance, I would ask you not to work with the fencing equipment. Mr. Durden, please stay away from the books on explosives. Find something you don't know. It may come in handy."
[The dart game is weirdly addictive. Just watch the dart moving at the bottom of the screen, press and hold down your mouse button when the dart stops where you want to throw. Hold down the button until the desired power level is reached, and release to throw.
If your character has really good aim/is great at darts AND is a fencer, go to the books which are absolutely moddable. Basically, do what you'd like in this period, but push your character into doing the unfamiliar.
