"Good morning," Aly said as the class filed in and took their seats. "You've probably all noticed that we're not in the Danger Room today. That practical is going to be put until next week for a variety of factors at least partially having to do with the events of the weekend."

"For today, I'd simply like everyone to pair up and discuss a plan of attack for infiltrating and then finding the information you need in the castle." She handed everyone set of fairly good maps of the floor plan of the different levels. She grinned. "You don't get to keep the maps. But whatever you want to do with them in class is fine."

"Go to, and I'll be here if you have any questions about proper strategy or ideas."

[OOC: So the higher ups at my work showed up a day earlier than expected This means minimal internet usage for me so I decided to put off the highly interactive class until next week when I actually can be around. I'm sorry for the thrown together class. I got an email late last night notifying me of the change ~~and then Heroes distracted me~~. Aly probably won't ping in at all until after 5-6 EST, but she should be around all evening. *pouts at silly corporate types not liking LJ*]

~~now that he's here,~~ Hikaru's eyes scanned over the parts of the map Setsuna wasn't focusing on at the moment. "You think we should both know the map well, or split the levels up?"

"Oh, we should both definately know it well," Setsuna said without another thought. "But I suppose it wouldn't hurt if we focused a little more on a particular level, or area..."

He leans on the desk's edge to examine the map for a while, keeping quiet so he can focus on it.

"Oh, Kaoru and I have something to ask you about. You think we could stop by after class sometime..?" He keeps his eyes on the map.

Setsuna nodded, her neck craning a bit as she took note of what the map said and what she remembered discovering about a certian part of the castle last week that wasn't there. "Sure; sometime this afternoon work, between lunch and when I have fensing at four?"

"Works fine." He leaned in close to the map, trying to figure out how one of the secret passages he'd been searching for last week would open for them discretly.

"See this here?" Setsuna asked, pointing to a spot in the map. "I remember this hallway. There's a room marked on here, but I don't remember ever seeing a door...."

Hikaru tapped his chin. "You remember any decorations or side tables? Maybe there are some nicks in the wall we missed..." He could vaguely remember the hallway, but was pretty sure he hadn't seen a room either.

"Mmm, there might have been; either way, it's definately something I think we should check out..."

Hikaru pointed to a back staircase that seemed to scale a few of the floors. "We didn't go here either, did we?"

"Uhhh...." Setsuna leaned closer to get a better look at what he was indicating. Her finger carefully traced over its path, as if that would inform her better. "No, I don't believe so. Huh. Wonder how we missed it..."

"Maybe it was in a corner we missed...either way, it's near the kitchen so it'd be easy to get to." He scans the areas that lead from the small staircase's exits.

Setsuna nodded, with a small, thoughful sound, and trained her eyes back on the map, trying to memorize every detail quietly.
