"Good news kids!" Lorne exclaimed as the students took their seats. "With all the fun you had this weekend, I'm giving you a break from singing today. That's two weeks in a row you didn't have to sing for me so don't forget to be grateful."
"Instead you have an assignment for next week," Lorne said as he pulled out a box that he hadHandwavey picked up from Sparky repairs and opened it. As soon as he opened it, little bots jumped out of the box and started to follow each of the students around playing different musical themes.
"The bots have been calibrated to sense your mood and play an appropriate song that suits that mood. Your assignment is to have your bot follow you around for one (or more) days and keep a log of what music it plays. Feel free to play around with your bot in class today, otherwise I'll see you next week."
"I do have some sad news to report Mary Decanter's parents have withdrawn her from school and will not be rejoining the class," Lorne said with a mournful look. "Though I don't understand why on the memo her name is listed as Marie D'Ancanto. That's it for me kittens! Mwah!"
