Lorelai entered the room, looking rather tired and run down.

"Sorry, guys. I spent the weekend kidnapped by trolls and I didn't have time to get my lesson plan together," she apologized. "And I'm guessing most of you had a rough weekend, too. Let's take this class period to work on your final projects, which are due in two weeks. If you have any questions, I'll be here."

There was a small snickering as Trick considered the implications of that. But he liked his darking watchtower too much to keep commenting.
