Study Hall -- Wednesday, September 21st

Welcome to the study hall for Wednesday. This will be my last study hall for the week, since my mun's access to the internet is now severely limited my son and I are going on a corporate terrorism crusade weekend vacation in which we will blow some shit up go to a petting zoo, shoot a few police officers buy a bunch of ice cream cones, and maybe stop a nuclear holocaust, you SICK SELFISH IGNORANT FUCKS listen to bad pop music while giggling like a couple of fucking morons.

Today's announcements:

-- Please behave for Professor Jerusalem while I'm away. He has my permission to do anything short of killing you little bastards, so keep that in mind before you do anything stupid.

-- ... well, that's about it, really.

Beka looks around, and seeing no one, takes a seat by the window and opens her comm pad. She needs to write an essay for Dr. Carter's class, and she owes Daniel Dr. Jackson some homework. It's all cool though. She feels like she can breathe again. Except that she misses her weapons.

Anders comes in looking confused and worried, and slumps into a seat near the door, putting his Pyramid ball between his feet. He digs into his backpack and pulls out his notes for that Classics presentation, then starts scribbling away, his free hand tangled up in his hair.

Beka notices that the kinda cute but not as cute as Lee guy looks worried. Naturally, being Beka, she decides to see if she can help.

"Hey. We haven't met. Have we?"

Anders looks up and blinks for a moment. "Hey. No. Uh . . . hi, I'm Anders."

Angela walks in and sits down, open notebook on her lap. She is frowning and crossing things out as she scribbles away at what looks like a list of names.

Marty enters Study Hall and sees Angela. He's not quite sure whether or not he should approach her after what happened last night.

Beka grins, amused at the reaction. "Hey. Beka Valentine." She waves at the mess of stuff on his desk. "Lots to do?"

Rory walks in, and seeing Marty there as well as Angela, decides to take a seat in the back.

She opens a folder and begins what looks like the first draft of a letter.

Beka notices Angela, whom she vaguely remmbers from the big party, and wonders if she should say anything to the girl, who looks distressed. She seems to be developing a habit of it. But there's a guy there who looks sort of interested. So, she just catches Angela's eye and smiles to let her know she's there if moral support is needed. Then she mouths, "Got. Your. Back. If you need it."

Angela notices Marty and looks up from her notebook. She waves for him to come over.

This makes Angela smile. "Thank you," she whispers at Beka.

Phoebe enters and thinks about approaching Angela, but then sees Marty with her. She ducks her head and finds a private spot in the very back of the room.

"Yeah, gotta work on that presentation assignment for Classics and I think I got myself in over my head. Just glad it doesn't have to be more than five minutes." He waves his pencil vaguely in the direction of his notes. "Sorry. Kind of preoccupied today."

*Paige comes in yawning I really need to get a night's sleep in my own bed she thinks to herself, while it's very fun staying in town the having to sneak back into school the morning after is a bit more hasslesome than she'd like*

*She pulls out her note pad and starts making a things she needs for Home Ec.*

Then, about an hour later, she taps Callisto on the shoulder. "Sis, Illyana's in trouble. She just called. She's crying. I gotta go. You coming?"

Belthazor walked into study hall, scanned the room, and saw Phoebe. Oops. He was kinda planning on avoiding her today, but now that she had seen him, he put on a smile and walked to the back of the room, taking a seat beside her. "Hey," he said.

"No problem. I just thought I'd see if there was anything I could do. But if it's Classics," she laughs, "a girl from 3500 years in the future isn't gonna be a lot of help."

Marty walks over with quite a lot of hesitation. He gives her a nervous smile as they both look at each other for a moment.

"Well," says Marty, "This isn't awkward in the least."
