Gun club: Saturday noon

Jack - having woken to a message from Parker - opened gun club as requested and posted the rules.

SAFETY RULES:

· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED

· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION

· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.

· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.

The gun range is open and gun club is in session.

Having gotten pretty comfortable with the Glock 9mm he'd been practicing with so far, Anders opted for a quick-action Walther P99 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walther_P99) today and started in on the targets. He used up a couple of clips just trying to get used to the different feel of the weapon, then, when he felt comfortable enough with it, really started working on his aim.

It didn't suffer too much. Honestly, he was pretty pleased with the results.

Aeryn's working with the pulse rifle today. It's bigger and a little over the top for any purposes she has in Fandom, so every once in a while she needs to blow the dust off of it and make sure it gets some proper use. She's no worse a shot with a bigger weapon, either.

Billy set a black plastic case in front of him and opened it. Inside, nestled along with his 9mm, were ten throwing stars. Setting up a target, he threw them, one at a time.

*whing*thunk* Little to the left.

*whing*thunk* ...Eeeeesh...

Considering he hadn't been to gun club since he'd signed up for it, Alec didn't seem at all embarrassed to just walk in and start up. He cleaned out his 9mm and went to take a position at the range.

Naomi was practicing by aiming her phaser, which was set at level four, at the targets.

Z took out her SPD-issued energy blaster pistol....thingy and started practicing. Her aim was getting better. She was even hitting the right target most of the time.
