Criminal Justice [first period, Tuesday 11/21]

"Uh, hey," Dean said, standing at the front of the class. "V's busy off doing something.... V-like so that means I guess I'm running the class today." He held up a piece of paper. "He did leave notes on what we're supposed to do today so I can't just make up something wacky to make you do instead.

"We're supposed to pick a cause we'd be willing to fight for and give our lives to and start figuring out a plan on how to, and I'm quoting, 'seek personal justice.' Which I guess means figure out who the bad guys are, then decide how to blow them away before they blow away you first. So, um, get with your partner and see what you can come up with." Dean looked like he was finished, but then added, "Oh and if your partner's not here, I guess just pair up with someone else or you can work solo I guess."


[OOC: wait for ocd's up. Come plot to take over the world. Or something. ;)]

"If he's still in there we should go see him," Tyler decided. He wasn't that close to Luke, but he was kind of curious what a lightsaber wound would look like.

Peter nodded, and he was more worried about Luke than he had been before. "How was your trip?"

Tyler shook his head. "An illustration of the theory you can't go home again. But I made it back."

"Did you find a -" Peter checked his notes. "Cause you would fight for?"

Tyler considered it. "Actually I kind of gave up on causes," he said. "I need a new one. Got anything in mind?"

Peter held up his hands. "At this point my cause is always the same - the peace and safety of my country. Which might not exactly be what V's looking for."

"I think he'd be more interested in tearing a country down," Tyler said.

He chewed on the end of his pen, thinking. "Maybe just a piece of what you want to do in Narnia -- strong military leadership, bonding people together, something like that."

"Definitely," Peter agreed, frowning slightly. "Perhaps keeping the people of a country safe from evil? Or is that too big?"

"I think V wants us to think big," Tyler said. "Something you're going to die for sort of has to be, unless you're the kind of moron who chains herself to a tree."
