Criminal Justice [first period, Tuesday 11/21]

"Uh, hey," Dean said, standing at the front of the class. "V's busy off doing something.... V-like so that means I guess I'm running the class today." He held up a piece of paper. "He did leave notes on what we're supposed to do today so I can't just make up something wacky to make you do instead.

"We're supposed to pick a cause we'd be willing to fight for and give our lives to and start figuring out a plan on how to, and I'm quoting, 'seek personal justice.' Which I guess means figure out who the bad guys are, then decide how to blow them away before they blow away you first. So, um, get with your partner and see what you can come up with." Dean looked like he was finished, but then added, "Oh and if your partner's not here, I guess just pair up with someone else or you can work solo I guess."


[OOC: wait for ocd's up. Come plot to take over the world. Or something. ;)]

You can ask him questions if you want. Though he might recruit you to help cook Thanksgiving dinner if you do. ;)

Tyler sidled over to Dean, looking a little embarrassed. "I don't think I have a partner."

"Yeah, I guess you wouldn't, being away." Dean smiled. "Nice to see you back and I promise we left your bed alone." He looked around the class. "Um, Luke's not around so Peter's without a partner; maybe you can team up with him today?"

"I trust you guys so much, I hadn't even asked Alec," Tyler said. "But good to hear it, always."

He glanced over at Peter. "Yeah, I can work with English. Thanks."

A brief smile crossed Tyler's face. "I don't have anyplace better to be."

"Jaye's organising a Thanksgiving dinner," Dean said. "I'm sure you're on the invite list."

"She does think I'm pretty," Tyler said. "Sounds like something to do. Is it going to be a big thing?"

"Dunno for sure, but it looks like it might be. I told Jaye to go and personally invite Principal Washburn to see if we can maybe get the school to buy some of the food."

Dean smiled widely. "I'm sure we can find something for you to help with in the kitchen. There's going to be lots of peeling and cutting and mixing."
