Heroism, Humanism & Hijinks: Literature in Action, Week 11, Period 5 (Danger Shop)

[OOC: Summary for Treasure Island.]

When the students entered the Danger Shop, they would have found themselves on the deck of a large sailing ship. There was only a slight rolling of the ship, but people with sensitive stomachs might have felt a little bit queasy.

"Welcome to the Hispaniola. Captain Flint couldn't make it, but this is an approximation of his ship. We're going treasure hunting, but in order to understand what our protagonists had to do before they could get on with the story, we'll be planning our own venture. Then you can play pirates."

Ship name: Prometheus
Destination: Treasure Island of course (one with dinosaurs) or just somewhere warm
Items: compass, swoop bike (for when we get to the island), lounge chair, captain's hat, blaster (to deal with the dinosaurs)
Friends: Kawalsky to look burly and scare everyone into working, Molly because she can do all the work without breaking a sweat, Crichton to keep everyone entertained, principal Washburn for when we get boarded and Veronica Mars because the voyages are long to do navigation
