Kappa Kappa Gremlin Meeting [6.00pm FHT]

Seely grinned at people as they came into the meeting.

"Alright fellows," he said, rubbing his hands together. "With the help of Alec and Kawalsky here, we've of we've come up with an idea for a little fund-raising activity, and while nothing's set in stone yet, I think it could be a lot of fun for all involved. Only problem is, we're going to need to get some of the girls on side. Which is going to take skill, charm and a little luck, but I'm sure you guys have that in spades. Since, like I said, thing's are still on the drawing board at the moment, so all I'm looking for at this point is people willing to talk to the girls and get them involved once things get rolling. If you think that's you, come and put your name down."

"In the meantime, there's pizza."

Parker waved to him. "Vamp bait. Always good to see you."

Bel choked on a mouthful of pizza. "I'm going to kill Anders," he sputtered.

"What with, innuendo and tease?" Parker cocked an eyebrow. "They *are* your most effective weapons. Let him have some of his own back."

"I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about," Bel said innocently, batting his eyes.

"And that is why I want to drown you in the bay," Parker said sweetly. "Because you're such an incredibly coy jackass."

Bel brought his hand to his chest. "Who, me?" he said.

Parker gave him a look of absolute disgust. "No, your good twin, Cole, who's so far in the closet ~~he's in Narnia~~ he can flirt with a guy and make him feel like second-best entertainment while smiling a smile full of knives."

"What, did Anders go crying to mommy or something?" Bel said. "He's a big boy, he can take care of himself."

"He's a macho idiot. And that disrespect? Is why I hope Phoebe dumps your ass someday, even if it's only for a week." Parker snarled. "Bastard."

"What's the matter, jealous?" Bel shot back. "Just what the hell has he told you anyway?"

"Of what?" Parker said, looking genuinely bewildered. "And why don't you ask him if he's finding this stupid boy-game still funny after last weekend?"

"Considering last night he was practically begging me to kick his ass, I'd say he's having a good time," Bel said.

"You're as big an idiot as he is. You're just crueler with it." Parker turned away, shaking her head. "Forget it. I don't know why I try."

"I'm not cruel," Bel protested. "He's asking for it!"

"And you're not giving it to him. And you never intend to. He ought to sue you for continuous and repeated breach of promise. But since he can't, we return to tease, I collect my markers, gravity works, the world's not ending, and this conversation is pointless."

"Haven't promised anything," Bel muttered. "Just been having fun. How come you're so protective of him, huh?"

"Because he's been hurt enough!" Parker burst out, then bit her lower lip, looking away. "Forget it. He'll learn. Eventually. It's not like you care. He'll get over it, and grow some more scar tissue. And you won't even notice."

"I'm not trying to hurt him!" Bel said defensively.

Parker paused, visibly debating what to say next. "If that's true then you need to talk to him. Not flirt-tease-seduce-mess-with-him. Talk. Somewhere a wire or a line got crossed, and the game isn't fun for him any more."

"That what he told you?" Bel said quietly.

Parker's ire had cooled enough that she didn't sound accusatory any more. "Yes. I probably should have kept my mouth shut, but-- yes."

"Got it," Bel said. "Fine. I'll...stop."

Parker blinked, totally floored. "Thanks. I... just, thank you." She facepalmed. "Oh, he's going to kill me. But thank you."

"Better tell him to keep his distance then," Bel said.

"Me tell him?" Parker practially squeaked. "Oh come on! He won't believe me! You have to tell him!"
